Rick Martin waved the “Stars and Bars” Confederate flag across the street from Taylor Stratton Elementary School in Madison where President Barack Obama spoke about health care on Wednesday.
The bright colors of the flags, particularly a version of the more iconic Confederate battle flag, made Martin and those with him stand out among the early onlookers, especially since the flag has come under fire as a symbol of hate and racism after the apparently racially motivated shooting deaths of nine people at an African-American church in South Carolina last month.
But Martin said he showed up for history.
He said he drove two hours to Nashville from Flintville, Tenn., to make a statement about his right to wave the flag. He said he was not protesting Obama, only supporting history and that he would even like to meet the president.
“It would be my pleasure to meet the president of the United States,” he said. “I served under him in the Marine Corps.”
Martin also made the case with passers-by that the flags of the Confederacy were not symbols of racism, but of heritage.
“Black people and white people fought under this flag,” he said, and he also said he planned to protest at a Ku Klux Klan rally planned in Charleston.
Some drove past and honked at Martin or gave him a fist pump. Others just shook their head.
Either way, Martin’s first location was on the property of the McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church, where church workers asked him to move, not wanting to become involved in the controversy over the flag.
…..Defiant Texas man nails 6-foot wooden Confederate flag to building across from county courthouse
A Texas man who nailed a 6-foot wooden Confederate flag to a building across from the Montague County Courthouse refused on Monday to take it down even though leaders throughout the South had called for the removal of offensive Civil War-era symbols.
After Republican Gov. Nikki Haley change course on Monday and called for the Confederate battle flag to be removed from the South Carolina statehouse grounds, a Mississippi lawmaker called for the symbol to banned from his state’s flag and lawmakers in Tennessee said that they wanted the bust of a Ku Klux Klan leaderremoved from the Tennessee statehouse.
But David Fenogilo told KAUZ that he had no intention taking down a 6-foot wooden flag that he had nailed to a building across the street from the county courthouse. Affixed on the flag are the words, “Heritage, Not Hate.”
“This is a building that I’ve owned for several years, and I have this sign that’s here in front that says ˜Heritage, Not Hate,'” Fenogilo explained. “I see it as the Southern heritage and I have two grandfathers who fought in the Civil War and it’s a tribute to them. And also, all of the Confederate veterans.”

…..Black female university professor: ˜White People Are Conditioned’ To Commit Mass Murder as in Charleston
Zandria Robinson, an assistant professor of sociology whose Twitter account is promoted on the school’s official website, posted a tweet following the Charleston shooting suggesting that the killer’s actions were a result of his whiteness:
Robinson also posted a tweet on June 26 saying that “Whiteness is most certainly and inevitably terror.” The offending tweet has since been deleted.

This is not the first time Robinson has made the news for her inflammatory social-media posts.According to Campus Reform, Robinson wrote a Facebook post last November preemptively threatening anyone who might be thinking of saying anything about minority students gaining admittance to graduate programs because of their race ” even if they were joking:
“SO DON’T YOU EVER LET ME HEAR TELL OF YOU PERPETUATING THESE RACIST LIES AGAIN. NOT EVEN IN YOUR HEAD. NOT EVEN IN JEST. Because if you do I will come for you. And I will do so in public.”
The above post has since been deleted from her Facebook page. It’s still not clear how Robinson has the ability to see inside of other people’s heads. Robinson still has a job at the public, taxpayer-funded university.

I am beginning to see what the fake Charleston shooting of the church ladies was all about — destroying a key symbol, certainly for 1/4 of the country, of white pride and manhood, and taking up arms to defend your interests.
Take down the Dixie flag and put up the gay rainbow flag of limp-wristed, falsetto-.voiced fags.
That is the kind of white “man” the J-Team wants now.
