I’ve smoked pot for years, but lately I haven’t been smoking it much.
Honestly it dulls you, it’s not something you want the masses smoking to be awakened. I smoke it maybe not even once a week now. I used to smoke it all day. I find it’s hard to do things or concentrate on much when you’re stoned; you just want to sit on the couch and do nothing.
I can see if you have a medical reason to smoke it like pain relief or to prevent seizures, because its side effects are much less and less tranquilizing than those pills.
But all in all I find smoking pipes and cigars to be much more realistic. I know it’s not healthy for me but it’s my vice and since I’ve started smoking tobacco regularly, (not cigarettes) my need to smoke pot has almost totally diminished.
I’m willing to bet you’re in a state where marijuana is not legal, like a lot of people. It’s a shame that it’s that way. Politicians need to wake up and realized the medical potential it has.
Pipe tobacco 100% makes people alert, like caffeine, and yet calm and focused, unlike caffeine. This is why the Indian tribal leaders, when they met to negotiate with the chiefs of other tribes, and avoid war, literally would “smoke the peace pipe.”
I smoke cannabis all the time to manage my chronic pain. I had a major back injury at 19 years old and had surgery at 24 after years of therapies and opiate pain meds.
With cannabis I don’t need the addictive opiates.
Cannabis also treats effectively my seizure disorder. It’s not for the masses but it should be used for medical treatments. I know that it works for me and have seen similar results for others.
When I attempted, despite incredible WN apathy and a vast defamation campaign run by government agents within WNism, to run for mayor of Apollo, Pennsylvania, I ran on a marijuana legalization platform.
Cannabis is good against cancer, good against terrible pain in cancer and other sufferers — I have direct knowledge of this in the case of a close friend’s loved one — and unlike alcohol, it never makes people violent.
I don’t smoke it, and frankly, for me, it does not really even make me high/happy/ giggly, have the munchies 😉 or anything — no effect.
I believe it does make some people lazy or impulsive who already had that tendency.
I personally know someone who became an unproductive slug when he smoked it for seven years, but he was naturally lazy and just wanted to party by nature.
Like whiskey, vodka, beer, wine, tobacco, or sex, falling in love, marriage, business partnerships, etc. everyone must be aware of how it will affect, benefit or harm their own specific life that God gave them.
But as my daughter once said when I scolded her at the University of Vermont in Burlington (which is also how I know so much about mayor, congressman and now senator Bernie Sanders….):
“Dad, you have heard of drunken brawls, right? Well, have you ever heard of a potten brawl? 😉 ”

Thanks for your comment , Andrew.
I will occasionally smoke a pipe, which contains just “pipe tobacco” with no addictive additives as do cigarettes.

William Dudley Pelley, a truly great, GREAT American WN (and also spiritual!) hero in every way, smoked a pipe.

This was my blog entry on him as proof that the masses just prefer liars 😉 , not Pelley types: https://johndenugent.com/english/william-dudley-pelly-proof-americans-will-not-rally-enough-even-heroic-charismatic-energetic-political-leader/)

Thanks for both comments.
Michigan is a very good state for civil liberties, including marijuana as well as guns, home-schooling and helmet laws.
There is lots of legal medical marijuana up here — another good reason to consider moving to the 99% white Upper Peninsula of this state of Michigan.
