John de Nugent The worst was how the Americans dropped leaflets after the British bombings, saying “Go to the riverbanks, and you won’t be bombed” — then sent fighter planes to strafe the riverbanks.

Thousands of wounded and hospital patients were also there because of the American promise. There is just no forgiveness possible for that — making promises to wounded civilians and then massacring them.
