In September of 1792 were perpetrated the terrible “September massacres”; eight thousand persons being murdered in the prisons of Paris alone, and many more over the country.

It should be noted here, that these victims were arrested and held till the time of the massacre in their prisons by one Manuel, Procureur [ = Prosecutor] of the Commune.

Sir Walter Scott evidently understood much concerning the influences which were at work behind the scenes. In his Life of Napoleon, Vol. 2, he writes on page 30:

The heroic Tyler Kent, secret-code clerk at the US Embassy in London, nearly stopped America from entering WWII. I knew him. In just one more day in 1940, he and Ramsay could have destroyed both Churchill and Roosevelt.

I am extremely proud of this year-long project, and I knew Tyler Kent, Ramsay’s American friend, who could have stopped WWII via nixing the reelection in 1940 of warmongerer Roosevelt, had the two acted sooner.

He and I shared a hotel room for three days at the IHR conference in 1986. He died the year later.

    Very inspirational show, Jim! I was really amazed by these two beautiful people. Margi is a fighter and her holistic approach to cancer is something doctors should have studied more than chemo/radiation. Everyone I know who had cancer (mom, aunt, cousins, friends) went the chemo route and are all gone. A friend of mine did what Margie is doing, and took a different approach. Changed diet, took CBD, exercise, lots of sunshine and happiness!!!

    She’s been cancer free for 8 years and maintains the holistic way. Don’t get cured and go back to bad habits! It’s a definite lifestyle change! Great show, Jim! Margi is in my heart now, and I’ll be praying and rooting for her cure!

    Cancer is not smart, it is that people are ignorant. Cancer is the result of a toxic lifestyle, it is not a disease. There is no such thing as disease. I would suggest wheatgrass as it is a very powerful nutrient that will help the body restore itself. The body knows what to do to detox from cancer but it needs help with the tools to do so.

Head and neck medical oncology phone follow-up.
CHIEF COMPLAINT/REASON FOR VISIT
Metastatic HPV-positive squamous cell carcinoma.
HISTORY OF PRESENT ILLNESS
Ms. Huffstickler is a very pleasant []-year-old woman from Michigan with the following oncologic history:
  1. May 2018: The patient was diagnosed with tonsil cancer and recommended to undergo chemotherapy and radiation therapy. She opted for homeopathic/alternative treatments with an integrative oncologist.
  2. Due to progressive symptoms, the patient presented to Mayo Clinic for a second opinion.
  3. July 22, 2019: PET-CT scan showed marked progression of a left oropharyngeal carcinoma with bilateral metastatic cervical lymphadenopathy. There were new indeterminate right hilar and subcarinal lymph nodes, reactive versus metastatic.
  4. The patient initiated chemotherapy with carboplatin, paclitaxel, and pembrolizumab.
  5. September 11, 2019: PET-CT scan showed marked interval response to treatment.
  6. October 1, 2019: The patient initiated definitive chemoradiation therapy with weekly cisplatin. She completed December 12. She received a total dose of 4 doses of weekly cisplatin 40 mg/m2.
  7. March 10, 2020: PET-CT scan showed a complete metabolic response.
  8. January 14, 2022: PET-CT scan showed a liver metastasis and a recurrence in the base of tongue.
  9. April 14, 2022: CT scan of the neck showed a 3.2 cm soft tissue mass along the left oropharynx involving the left parapharyngeal space abutting the posterior left mandible and left internal and external carotids.
  10. The patient underwent ablation and was started on pembrolizumab.
  11. August 3, 2022: CT scan compared to May showed mild disease progression.
INTERVAL HISTORY:
I visited with Margi and John over the phone. She has only been able to receive 3 doses of immunotherapy over the past 3 months due to some episodes of heartburn, pneumonia, and feeding-tube dislodgement. These have all resolved. She has noted decreased bleeding from her tongue lesion and has gained weight. She is using some supplements as well.
OBJECTIVE
PHYSICAL EXAMINATION
Not performed.
ASSESSMENT / PLAN
#1 Metastatic p16-positive squamous cell carcinoma of the tonsil with liver metastases and head and neck recurrence
Clinically, it appears that Margi has stabilized and may be starting to improve. I reviewed imaging, comparing CT imaging to her MRI from May that does show some mild progression, but she has not been able to reliably get immunotherapy. Her performance status overall is quite low, and she is fairly weak. I would recommend continuing with the immunotherapy with ongoing monitoring.
#2 Thick secretions
This is bothersome for her, and I will send them some recommendations through the portal.
