A staunch supporter who began ten years ago sending me some of her babysitting earnings as a high school girl in southern New England wrote me to be sure she had the right address for us to send a donation.

One of her letters, replete with green shamrock stickers on the requisite aluminum foil, is on my fridge door. 🙂 (She is Irish — as well as German, meaning the best combo on this earth 😉 )

Ok thank you! I wasn’t sure if that address was still used or not.I am gonna send a donation your way on Monday! 😃 But yes I was in a car wreck, back in June of 2018. This time around, I had to make some repairs: my two rear tires and a tire rod on the front driver’s side. It came to nearly 400$ to repair, but this was the best price I could get. If I went anywhere else I probably would have ended up spending over a thousand! 😧
.
Anyways I hope you and Margi are having a good day so far!

I replied:
Hi, []
Well, $400 is a lot on a [chain drugstore employee] salary.

If things ever get, really, really bad for you in the leftist [New England state], deep in “enemy territory” (and I lived there myself 1971-75 and 1995-2003), just remember you have two friends right here in 99% white Ontonagon in the 98% white, rightwing UP. You have been a vital supporter for ten years now and I do not forget such major things.

The Coronavirus is such a huge crisis. It is now forcing me to step forward, and into the jaws of hell.
.
There is no way to solve this but by addressing the fundamentals. What is wrong with people — not with us, but with them — that the facts and impending disaster do not matter?
.
WE have not been wrong in our facts or interpretations, or courage, or love for our folk. Everything has proven us and our warnings right.
.
But now this folk must wake the hell up. Now. Please wish me well and pray for me. Prayers and financial help worked to save Margi’s life at death’s door, and this, for me, was a sign that God is using me and us, and supporters like you. Now comes the end of night.
.
With fond affection and gratitude,
.
John and Margi
