……Personal note
Have been dealing with critical health issues for Margi, who on the one hand is doing better — her esophagus, scarred by radiation and infections, is again opening up — and yet her weight fell to a life-threatening 73 pounds (33 kilograms). She got too weak to even feed herself sitting down.
At a rest stop in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, at 79 pounds. She has lost 6 pounds since then.
Margi looked amazing two years ago before the throat cancer spread (and she never smoked, drank, ate junk food or got overweight).
I must say (quickly) that I received yesterday, safe and sound , two wonderful, large donations, totaling 370 euros (about US$370) from France and Italy, plus letters and truly heart-warming photos.
Since Trump got in, unlike the (for me) hellish eight years of Obama, the post office no longer steals my mail and my cash donations, and the Ontonagon PO, I think, has never done so.
I will be blogging again today on important matters.
