Hockey is still by far the whitest of the four major sports, with more than 98% of its players drawn from North America, Russia, Scandinavia, parts of Eastern Europe, and now even Switzerland!
.
It is in fact SO European, it has been condemned by the mainstream media for being “racially exclusive” – whatever the heck that means!
.
Adding to the NHL’s quote “problem with whiteness” is the fact that the league’s few non-white players – and they are REALLY few and far between – are typically more white than black – both genetically – and culturally.
.
Listen to black players like PK Subban, Evander Kane and Dustin Byfuglien speak and you can almost hear their rural Minnesota and Canadian roots oozing from their pores.
.
This, I feel, is a good thing!
.
Although the NHL – run by putrid NYC Lawyer, Gary Bettman – tried to foist BLM on its fans, the league’s players, individual team management and its fans were about as interested as rapper 50 Cent would be at a Stanley Cup final tilt.
.
In fact, it is fair to say the NHL – which desperately tried to push BLM on its fans – struggled mightily to gain any traction when they started pushing the “Blacks Loot and Murder” agenda, so they pulled it almost as fast as they initiated it.
.
There are also several well known players – like Tony DeAngelo of the NY Rangers – who openly support Donald Trump. Although the Ranger liberal scumbag fan base has issues with DeAngelo’s political allegiances, they rarely question them – after all Tony Dee, as he is known in NYC, finished 4th in defenseman scoring this past season….
.
Then there’s the great Bobby Orr, who is still one of the single most famous athletes to EVER play in Boston.
.
During his career, Orr who is now 72, played in 12 NHL seasons with the Bruins and the Chicago Blackhawks, winning two Stanley Cups, eight Norris Trophies and three Hart Trophies.
.
And he is hardly irrelevant now.
.
Over the past three decades Orr has been one of the leagues most successful player agents, with clients that include Edmonton Oilers captain, Connor McDavid – the league’s best player.
.
And not only did Orr come out in support of President Trump, just days before the election, he took out a full-page advertisement in his local New Hampshire/Massachusetts newspaper endorsing our 45th president, and his personal friend.
.
Although the Canadian Press have pulled out all the stops to assail Mr Orr, Orr’s legacy in Boston and throughout Canada, and his reputaion as a person, is SO strong, that it has had NO impact whatsoever.
.
Can’t cancel a legend, scumbags. Although they tried it with the indomitable Don Cherry and then with American hockey legend, Jeremy Roenick, true fans of the game will not budge.
..
Here’s how the Clinton News Network (CNN) covered the story. See story below video of well known black player, the afore-mentioned Dustin Byfuglien, discussing winning the Stanley Cup in Chicago.
.
.
(CNN)Two icons of their sports have endorsed President Donald Trump for reelection.
.
NFL great, Brett Favre, and NHL star, Bobby Orr, publicly lent their support to the President’s campaign on Friday, making them mong the most prominent figures in sports to do so. Golf icon, Jack Nicklaus, said on Thursday that he had voted for Trump and encouraged others to do the same.
.
In a tweet, the former Green Bay Packers quarterback praised Trump’s stances on freedom of speech, the Second Amendment and police. “My Vote is for what makes this country great, freedom of speech & religion, 2nd Amnd, hard working tax paying citizens, police & military,” Favre wrote. “In this election, we have freedom of choice, which all should respect. For me & these principles, my Vote is for @RealDonaldTrump.”
.
Orr’s endorsement came in the form of a full-page ad in the Manchester Union Leader on Friday. Orr is pictured with his wife, Peggy, and Trump posing with their thumbs up.
