.
Do you recall the hit 80’s television sitcom, “Silver Spoons,” starring Ricky Schroder?
.

In the pilot episode, Ricky Stratton, played by Ricky Schroder arrives at an English-style mansion (presumably set in America’s Northeast, although the brick Tudor period mansion shown in the opening credits that represented “The Stratton Mansion”, is actually a private stately-home built in 1481, named Compton Wynyates and located in Warwickshire, England) to meet his dad for the first time.
.
Edward Stratton III (Joel Higgins), who plays Ricky’s father, epitomizes the term “man-child”, has never taken responsibility for anything in his life including his son, as well as his toy business that turned him into a wealthy man.
.
Ricky, on the other hand is very mature, immediately recognizing that his father needs to grow up and in a way acts as his mentor during the program’s nearly five-year run. Schroder’s character comes across as a little “conservative” as he is pragmatic, responsible, values hard work and free speech.
.
Upon considering the merits of this programme, would it be acceptable to have a character like this in today’s political climate? Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that it would be frowned upon, perhaps even be deemed abusive to America’s impressionable children by the Left. Having a “trans” boy wearing a tutu would be celebrated. Having a conservative minded, well-dressed, articulate young man espousing views and possessing characteristics one associates with Trump supporters? Heaven forbid!
.
I find it rather sad that things have changed so dramatically over the last 30 years. I would not want a child of mine watching any of the modern stuff on Netflix or the like. Even the cartoons nowadays have a despicably Left wing and family-destroying, political bent and bias.
.
So, 20 years elapse and Schroder is next seen in a widely regarded stint on the hugely popular early 2000s television program, NYPD Blue, where the actor portrays Danny Sorenson, a US Army Desert Storm combat veteran turned streetwise cop.
.

.
Once again, the conspicuously white European/gentile actor portrays a compassionate male figure with fatherly instincts and seemingly right-wing ideals. In childhood, Sorenson is said to have “immigrated to the United States from Norway along with his younger sisters following the death of his father.” He is a deeply troubled but sensitive character who had been entrusted to take care of his younger siblings.
.
And now, years later, it appears that Schroder has in fact taken on board some of the characteristics of his two most famous on screen characters in real life, helping Kyle Rittenhouse financially and even mentoring the young man during his ordeal.
.

TMZ, a horrific Hollywood based celebrity news channel, reported that the “17-year-old youth accused of killing two people during a protest in Wisconsin is seen smiling in a new photo with his lawyer and “NYPD Blue” and “Silver Spoons” star Ricky Schroder after posting his $2 million bond and being released from custody.”
.

.
Kyle Rittenhouse, the young man accused of first-degree murder, “fleeing prosecution,” and other trumped up charges in Kenosha for a remarkable display of bravery, marksmanship and soldiering – we all watched unfold online – needs all the help he can get at this juncture.

.

Sheriff’s officials confirmed to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, part of the USA TODAY Network, that Rittenhouse was released Friday afternoon.
.
Hours later, Lin Wood of Atlanta who is a member of Rittenhouse’s defense team and who is deeply involved with the nationwide effort to “Stop The Steal” (theft of the presidential election) tweeted a photo of Rittenhouse, Ricky Schroder and attorney, John Pierce, under the title of “FREE AT LAST!!!”

.
Lin Wood had tweeted earlier that a donation from Schroder helped put Rittenhouse’s bond fundraising effort “over the top.”
.
On Sunday morning, Schroder tweeted a second photo of himself with Rittenhouse and his mother, Wendy.
.

.
It’s not known whether Rittenhouse and his mother had flown out to California or they met at Rittenhouse’s local lawyer’s home, but it was good to see him looking happy, healthy and in the company of people that support him in his darkest hour.
.
“In America we are ALL innocent until a jury of peers decides guilt or innocence, not the Mob or Press,” Schroder wrote on his noticeably unverified account with 37.6K followers, urging them to move to Parler, a conservative social media platform. “When the facts are known, many of you will owe this young man an apology.”
.
According to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, Schroder shared Wood’s tweets Friday evening on Parler, including one that read, “Follow & thank Actor Ricky @rickyschroder for his significant contribution to get #FightBack over the goal line to reach $2M cash bail goal.”
.
Variety reported that

“His (Kyle’s) case has taken on political overtones. Supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement have painted Rittenhouse as a trigger-happy white supremacist. Conservatives upset over property destruction during recent protests have portrayed him as a patriot who was exercising his right to bear arms during unrest. A legal defense fund for Rittenhouse has raised millions of dollars in donations and his mother got a standing ovation from women at a Waukesha County GOP function in September.”

.
Speaking with The New York Post, Schroder confirmed he contributed a large sum of money “in the hundreds of thousands of dollar region” to pay Rittenhouse’s bond and legal defense.
.
Rittenhouse has been charged with the shooting of two domestic terrorists – one of whom was a convicted serial pedophile – during the protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin — with what has been alleged was an illegally obtained semi-automatic rifle he bought with his coronavirus stimulus check – something we have been covering in great detail.
.
Along with MyPillow CEO, Mike Lindell and literally thousands of other patriots, Schroder helped the 17-year-old post his $2 million bond.
.

“It made me mad what I saw happening to this kid,” Schroder told the New York Post. “The young boy is innocent and I am confident that he will be proven innocent. I did what any father should’ve done, and that’s get a kid out of jail that doesn’t deserve to be there.”

.

“This was Kyle’s life being destroyed,” Schroder continued. “This is his freedom at risk. It infuriated me to see an innocent 17-year-old young man being tried and found guilty before trial.”

.
Schroder said he sympathizes with the heroic young man because he himself had been convicted by “the media” after he was arrested for domestic abuse in May 2019. “It sucked because everybody thought I was a woman beater, and I’m not a woman beater,” he contended. The case was later dismissed because his girlfriend refused to press charges.
.

“I was tried and convicted in the court of the media [myself]. But you have to understand, that’s only my reputation that was being destroyed.”>/blockquote>>
.
Since helping to bail out the heroic youngster, Schroder said he’s received a barrage of vitriol and abuse in the form of “insults and threats made via social media”.
.

It has in fact gotten so bad that Schroder has had to report the harassment to police. “When people talk about coming to my home is when they get my attention,” he commented.
.
Thankfully, like Kyle, Schroder is armed to the teeth!

.
The backlash he has received from the usual suspects – the media, elite and their Antifa pawns – hasn’t remotely changed Schroder’s position on Rittenhouse.
.
TMZ reported that, “Ricky Schroder’s getting so much hate for helping accused murderer Kyle Rittenhouse make bail, he reported it to cops … TMZ has learned.
.
Note – “TMZ” is an abbreviation of Thirty-Mile Zone, which references the historic “studio zone” within a 30-mile radius of Hollywood, California
.
Law enforcement sources tell us … deputies responded to a call from Schroder Sunday and stopped by his home to review various negative social media posts directed at the “NYPD Blue” actor.
.
While they weren’t life-threatening, some of the comments were pretty nasty … “Tbh thought he was dead. Would’ve been better,” “This was a racist move pure and simple,” and “Ricky Schroder can shove that silver spoon right up his ass.”
.
Lovely.
.
But Schroder isn’t deterred.
.
“I’m in this in the long haul for this kid, until his name’s cleared,” he said. “This is a clear case of self-defense. Besides, he wasn’t there to stop the protests,” Schroder said. “He was there to defend property from chaos.” It does appear that Schroder may have been, as has been reported, “keen on making a documentary about the kid”, also reported by TMZ.
.
Rittenhouse’s next court date is set for December 3rd. He faces life in prison if convicted on one count of first-degree intentional homicide. He is also charged with two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and one of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, in addition to misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18.
.
But people shouldn’t be too shocked that Schroder helped.
.
He regularly posts “anti-Antifa” memes, as well as taglines like #fuckMarxism from his various social media counts.
.
And while Ricky Schroder still has acting and directing aspirations, you may someday find him on a ballot. The man who spoke in honor of George W. Bush at the 2000 Republican National Convention is following the deficit battle in Congress closely. “The stage is set for fiscal responsibility moving forward,” he comments. “But even though the debt is too large, I’m more worried about the trade deficit. I’m concerned about the long term. Why aren’t we in a surplus and getting wealth from other countries?” .
.
When asked directly, Ricky Schroder says, “Maybe one day I’ll run for office.”

.
In the meantime, he will continue acting and directing. He is a conservationist and a passionate fisherman. He is also working with the US Army to produce advertising and marketing vehicles because, he says, “the disconnect between civilians and the military has never been greater.”
.
He is also on Parler.
.
Let’s hope good things are on the horizon for Mr Schroder. He seems like a decent guy.
.
Wouldn’t you rather have men like Schroder, Lin Wood and Rittenhouse as neighbors than the scumbags Rittenhouse killed?
.
I think that goes without saying!
.

End article.

Thank you for a fine article, François.

Btw, Rick Schroder andKylerittenouse are also perfect examples of the huge German-American contribution to this country in every area — successful modern farmers, businessmen, soldiers, engineers, chemists, writers, political leaders and very popular and fine actor and actresses.

Germans, whether blond or brunet, tend to have square jaws, rectangular faces, and rugged good looks. Germans also have the highest IQ in Europe.

  1. Trump doubts whether the Supreme Court will even hear his election fraud lawsuits:

    https://www.newsmax.com/headline/trump-election-recount-inauguration/2020/11/29/id/999153

Well, if they don’t, then it’s game over for Trump and for the country, since all of the Deep State governors are throwing out Trump’s lawsuits. It’s depressing to read that Trump is so pessimistic about his chances all of a sudden, after giving such a rousing Thanksgiving Day press conference, where he seemed determined to fight on. Maybe he’s worked out a deal with the Jews to have his own TV network if he agrees to vacate the White House without a fight.

    • Thank you for this.

      Hmmmmmmm.

This is the kind of thing which is either Trump feigning pessimism as a trick, or really being pessimistic, which might mean the supposed Green Beret-CIA firefight in Frankfurt is fake, or somehow the courts would still disallow it. Basically, a Deep State judge will ignore any proof.

It will come down to naked force, as George Washington concluded regarding the British in 1775.
