A $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man charged with the murder of his wife is being offered after the FBI placed the man’s wanted poster on its website, announced Steven M. Martinez, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office. Napoleon Castro [good WASP name] is wanted by the FBI and the Los Angeles Police Department after being charged by the state of California with murder, and in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, with Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution (UFAP). The federal charge of UFAP is based on evidence indicating a suspect charged with a crime/s by the state has fled the jurisdiction; in this case, the state of California.

Napoleon E. Castro, 35, who also goes by the names “Napo” or “Trouble,” is wanted for his alleged involvement in the torture-murder of his estranged wife on May 1, 2010, in Pacoima, California. The victim’s body was found lying in a pool of blood at the entrance to her garage. Evidence obtained by responding LAPD detectives indicated she had been stabbed multiple times.

Based on an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, Castro was charged with murder and torture by the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest on May 5, 2010. A federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Central District of California on May 24, 2010, after Castro was charged federally with the UFAP.

Castro is known to have various tattoos, including, a female face and a male clown face on his left arm; a naked female on his right arm; “Eddie Castro Jr” on his chest; “OLGA” on his chest; a hornet on the left side of his chest; “Born A Sinner” on his left arm; and “Die A Sinner” on his right arm. He also has a horizontal scar on his chin just below his lip and a vertical scar from his abdomen to his chest.

Castro may have travelled to Worcester, Massachusetts, and El Salvador where he is known to have ties. He is also known to be an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team.

Castro should be considered armed and dangerous.
