Henry Ford was a true mechanical genius, a brave antisemite, and a friend of world peace and of the working class, doubling wages for his employees in 1913.
For years I kept a bust of this great American on my desk at the Brown House in Munich.
The Model-A was his second great invention after the Model-T.

….Spiritual reading for March 17
Dear ones, please have patience and faith. If you have opened even a small space in your selves over the last week, you will almost certainly find that you are ready to receive something very beautiful that is beginning to move in. If the berth has been cleared and prepared, the treasure that you need right now will soon be with you.
This may sound magical, and we suppose that in a way it is. All we can say at the moment, however, is: stay open and alert for the signs of the new and the longed for. It may not come in the form you expect or have hoped for with your conscious mind; it will come as you truly need it.
The only danger here is that you will fail to recognize your treasure if it does not look exactly like you imagined it would. Try to allow anything new and bright that wants to enter your life. Miracles can and do occur. If you are reaching out to catch these miracles, if you are seeking out that which you need to move forward and to grow, amazing things will happen to you, for you.
Do not censor and do not complain. Cultivate gratitude and let yourself be blessed. These are days of indescribable abundance and grace. You may stumble into great changes, or small but extraordinary bits of clarity. Please, please try to be as present and as willing as you can be.
If things seem difficult, if you are in the depths, use your will to leave that perspective for as long as you can. A moment, an hour, a day.
Even a night, while you sleep and dream. Leave the cellar and come up and outside where there is gold showering from the sky.
If it suits you, you can always go back down after you’ve collected your manna. We love this. We pray that you will be able to feel and find the great joy and light that is especially with you today.

Btw, “presence” means your mind stops chattering and you just look, you see reality as it is, with no commentary or judgments, and if something is wonderful, you simply enjoy it. “No mind,” as they say in Japan in Zen Buddhism. You can enjoy everything TEN TIMES more when you shut your mind down and are just “present,” just witnessing what is.

Twenty years ago, on March 16, 2003, Rachel Corrie was defiantly standing in front of a Palestinian home that was about to be bulldozed by the Israeli Jews, who were then destroying Palestinian homes.
The Jewish bulldozer operator deliberately knocked Rachel down with the heavy blade of his bulldozer, then lowered this extremely heavy blade and pulled it back across her body, crushing her body and deliberately killing her.
