Man suspected of ex Giulia Cecchettin’s murder stopped near Leipzig

(ANSA) – ROME, NOV 19 – Filippo Turetta, a 22-year-old Italian engineering student suspected of murdering his 22-year-old ex girlfriend Giulia Cecchettin, has been arrested in Germany after an eight-day search, his lawyer told ANSA Sunday.

Turetta’s arrest at the spa town of Bad Dürrenberg near Leipzig came a day after fellow information engineering student Cecchettin’s body was found with many knife wounds to the neck and head, as well as defensive wounds, in a gully near a lake in the northeastern Italian Friuli region.

Turetta, who is suspected of murdering Cecchettin in a rage after she left him, was stopped on an international arrest warrant issued by Venice police and is set to be extradited from Germany.

After the pair went missing last Saturday, Veneto-born Cecchettin’s body was found this Saturday near Lake Barcis near Pordenone.

She is believed to be the 103rd femicide in Italy this year as a spate of gender-based violence continues.

Premier Giorgia Meloni said on Saturday that the news of Cecchettin’s murder is heartbreaking, expressing her hope that “full light will be shed” on the latest in the long string of femicides in Italy. “I have followed the updates on the case with apprehension and I hoped for a different outcome until the last,” said Meloni on Facebook. “The discovery of Giulia’s lifeless body is heartbreaking news,” she said.

Earlier opposition centre-left Democratic Party (PD) leader Elly Schlein renewed her call to Meloni to work together to prevent violence against women. “At least on the fight against this slaughter of women and girls, let’s put to one side political conflict and try to make the country take a step forward,” said Schlein. “Repression is not enough if prevention is not done,” she continued, calling for an immediate law introducing compulsory education on respect and affectivity [emotions] in all schools in Italy.

Her comments came after Meloni said Thursday she was seeking agreement on measures to up the fight against gender-based violence (GBV) after an appeal from Italian comic and actress Paola Cortellesi that she and Schlein work together on the issue.

Cortellesi’s directorial debut C’è Ancora Domani (There’s Still Tomorrow) on violence against women, picked up three awards at the closing ceremony of the 2023 Rome Film Festival.

The black-and-white film, telling the domestic drama of an abused housewife in post-war Rome and confronting issues of patriarchy and women’s empowerment in the year Italian women got to vote for the first time, got a special mention and won the special jury prize and the public’s prize and has been a box office hit in Italy.

Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said Sunday that Cecchettin, who was set to discuss her thesis and graduate from Padua University, should be granted an honorary degree from the prestigious Veneto university. “This dramatic affair which has struck all of us for the heinousness and brutality of the murder has come to a tragic end for a girl who was set to graduate,” he said. “I think we should at least give her a degree ‘honoris causa’.” (ANSA).

Had this narcissist repaid Margi, she could have gone to a private cancer clinic in 2019 with natural therapies and not have been forced to do chemo and radiation…. which often only temporarily stops the cancer while having terrible side effects (such as nausea, vomiting, hair loss, etc.). The tumor often comes back, because the chemo and radiation weaken the immune system. My good-hearted wife died, with me by her side, on September 12, 2022.

 

 

Her death not only caused me incredible grief, and stroke-level hypertension, but also a financial crash, as I was her paid cancer caretaker and she also got Social Security and food stamps.

The angels certainly do not wish to destroy you with guilt; they show key moments when you were kind, generous, forgiving, and made sacrifices to help others, when you were noble and good.

And, when it is appropriate, they invite you to see also the times you let yourself and others down.

God is a tough-love heavenly father.

People on this mixed-karma planet actually often grow only very slowly during each earthly life  here. They are stubborn, prideful, and refuse to admit that they did stupid or rotten things.

But when, in the interlife, you see your life-review video, and your own actions and inactions, you will see vividly the full effect you had on others.

Many souls change radically just from seeing this life-review video, and meditating in its meaning.

Then God sends you back here, and He usually makes you forget the details of your earlier lives.  Why does He usually (but not always) make us forgetthe details= He knows that you might dwell on all the negative, and reproach yourself too much for your failures  or even crimes.

Besides, what is important is your heart and how it changes,  NOT the details of what went on.

This Filippo will FEEL the terror and horror in his ex-girlfriend, Giulia, as he stabbed her, over and over and over. He will experience her pain.

Actually, people like this, at death,  sometimes see a beautiful, radiant city up ahead of them, but then two or thee lowlife people come up to them, laugh in their face, and say “That is not where YOU are going. You belong with US! And then you go to a temporary hell world, where EVERYONE is LIKE YOU.

You, by your own deeds, sentence yourself to this world of nightmarish violence, where no one can be trusted.

And you will stay there UNTIL, in your heart, you are disgusted by the evil things you did and your heart is bursting with remorse for the suffering you caused, and say “My punishment was just, Lord God. I will obey Your will for me. I am burning with a passion to change who I am, and, as You are love,  I wish to be love too.”

God sees the heart of the sinner. If he is sincere, then his time in hell ends.

Then you go to the temporary heaven, and, in time, you return to this earth or another world to try again to be a noble, strong, and  kind person. In this material,  physical dimension, the good intentions you have will be tested to see how strong your remorse and your love for others, your respect for others, really are.

God is not to be trifled with; you will reap what you sow.

And this Filippo will face the music for killing Giulia. An intelligent girl, studying engineering, what beautiful babies she might have had.

 

Filippo may, in fact, be stabbed every day by another lowlife just like him, down in hell world, but there he cannot die.

He will just lie there bleeding away in agony.

God did not put him there; his own heart and his deeds did it, and the life-review video will remind him:

It was you who did this, and feel now how Giulia felt when the knife went in.

I know how Margi felt, with her pain at 8 out of 10.

 

Twelve days before she died, quite mysteriously, of a stroke, not the cancer, the jews did a strange chemtrail I had never, ever seen before. It was low-altitude, directly over our house, and the chemtrail then exploded (!) like a super-nova right over our heads.
