In a previous, 1964, incident, a USAF Lieutenant Mansmann enlarged an image of a UFO chasing a dummy US nuclear warhead launched over the Pacific from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. It struck me in viewing your fabulous film (and especially the “bonus feature” interviews this morning) how a minority of AF personnel really freaked out, and one was “in the fetal position” hours later.
(The famous Staffordshire lady who saw the “Nordic Aliens” was hiding under the kitchen table with her kids when her husband came home from work, even after perceiving them, as she stated to the BBC, as “beautiful people” and “compassionate” and experiencing no harm at all from them.)

I see all such terrified people as victims of what I would call the “atheist agendification of the Enlightenment.” This Enlightenment was in many ways a wonderful era, and led to the American Revolution and much scientific, economic and political progress, but also was misused to incite an extreme debunking — by implication — of the existence of any intelligent life form whatsoever except terran humans.

All our ancestors, Christian and heathen, believed there were beings higher than ourselves (gods, goddesses, angels, demons, fairies, giants, etc.) and we were not at all the top of the food chain, the top dog or the king of the hill. We knew our place was in the middle, above the animals but below the gods.

We have been taught since the 1700s, however, that we are alone, and when we find out, as with these USAF guys, that we are not — not at all — and that these other beings are far, far more powerful than we are, they freak out and are deeply traumatized.

It also struck me, Mr. Hastings, that these UFO beings that impeded our nuke facilities were being as gentle in their intimidation as possible. For example, in both the 1964 Vandenberg case and the 1967 Malmstrom one, the warhead was very, very surgically and almost non-violently disabled, not destroyed in the spray of a million smithereens.

I would suggest that this species is therefore benevolent, or, at worst, practicing a very enlightened form of self-interest. They could so easily have freaked out ALL the USAF personnel by destroying those warheads in a much more spectacular fashion, as in “Independence Day” or the 2005 Tom Cruise-Spielberg version of “War of the Worlds,” which would have struck utter terror — of the literally pants-wetting or -soiling kind — in all terran-human beholders. Many of these military men could have been PTSDed for life had the anti-nuke aliens flaunted their awesome destructive powers.

PS I should update you that I have moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan which is rife with UFO sightings. The area is very isolated and full of copper as well as, of course, hydrogen in the huge Lake Superior. A retired chemical engineer friend of mine was awakened at 3 am (he lives on the lake) by a “silent flash like an atomic bomb going off, or a giant flash bulb.”
Thirty-nine years ago SOMEONE took over a British television program and broadcast instead an important message for the people of Earth.
The transmission occurred on 26 Nov 77 at 5:12 p.m. when a strange unknown voice overrode, took over, or super-modulated the TV signals from five transmitters that were monitored by the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) in England. IBA did not detect the intrusion.
The 5+1/2-minute message overrode a scheduled newscast read by Ivor Mills on Southern ITV, England, and was heard by listeners as far away as Andover, London, Newbury, Oxford, Reading, Southhampton, and Winchester.

It is hard to know if this audio recording was real or fake, but the content is consistent what serious ufologists (and also anti-NWO activists) believe to be true.
One comment I have read is the video mus be fake because the voice has a British accent. This is of course, if one just stops and thinks, a ludicrous objection.

If a high-tech civilization can fly faster than the speed of light across the galaxy, can it not train a person or even a computer to speak in a British or other accent?
Many of us earthlings can learn to do so. I myself have a virtually perfect accent in French, and in German — and even in the somewhat Austrian dialect, and can in fact imitate Arnold Schwarzenegger (or Adolf Hitler 😉 ) for laughs.

Some commentators have added that the accent is actually not a perfect British accent ” and not American either ” which might suggest authenticity “ that non-earth humans did it and not hoaxers.
