John de NugentI certainly agree. But except for the French Revolution (judeo-masonic), France has not had a lot of assassinations or political bloodshed, at least not over the last 40 years. They are a fairly gentle people — compared to others. (I lived there 2004-05, was married to a Frenchie 2002-05, and speak almost perfect French without much accent). ….

The only lame excuse for the bodyguards is that the attacker was a tiny chick carrying a bouquet, and so they let their guard down. Female politicians actually often receive bouquets from their supporters.

But someone needs to be fired.
