Rubin, who was blamed for incurring $377 million in losses at Merrill Lynch back in 1987, previously worked as a manager at George Soros’ investment fund and is well-known for being featured in the best-selling books “Liar’s Poker” and the “Big Short.”

According to the suit, Rubin relied on Stephanie Shon ” a 29-year-old former model and an account manager for a legal support service company ” to reach out to Instagram models and exotic dancers online and encourage them to meet up with him.

When the plaintiffs expressed concern after she reached out to them online in 2016, Shon allegedly offered them $2,000 just to fly out to New York and visit Rubin in his swanky apartment.

If Shon was unable to convince potential targets, Jennifer Powers would step in and further encourage the women to meet up with Rubin. She was also tasked with soothing distressed models after their encounters with the trader.

Both Shon and Powers are listed as defendants in the case ” as is Rubin’s lawyer Lifat Schnur, allegedly for creating NDAs and trying to silence the victims.

A spokesperson for Schnur said the allegations against the lawyer and Rubin are “100 percent untrue. The plaintiff’s baseless complaint is a wed of lies intended to extort Mr. Rubin. All appropriate law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, have been contacted.”

When the defendants arrived in Manhattan, they were given a tour of Rubin’s $8 million pad, which included a side room containing “devices and other BDSM-type instruments designed solely to harm victims.”

The women claimed they were drugged and then bound and gagged in the sex “dugeon” where Rubin allegedly raped them and beat them so severely they would lose consciousness.

One women said he repeatedly punched her until she called him “daddy” while another said she was beat so badly her breast implant “flipped” and later required surgery.

The married father allegedly paid her $20,000 to repair the damage, according to court documents.

“I’m going to rape you like I rape my daughter,” Rubin allegedly told them during the violent sessions.

Another said she was tied up gagged and shocked with a cattle prod before Rubin assaulted her.

The women further claimed the defendants sought to “cover up Rubin’s sexual misconduct and criminal abuse of women and to serve as a cover for his wide-ranging human trafficking scheme.”

Rubin did not immediately return a request for comment.
