The Anti-Defamation League is calling for Fox News to fire Tucker Carlson.

“Given his long record of race-baiting, we believe it is time for Carlson to go,” ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt says.

There is zero indication that Fox will take such a step — or even reprimand Carlson. But the ADL’s call, delivered in a letter to Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott, underscores the extreme and unsettling nature of Carlson’s anti-immigration commentary.

Carlson, the highest-rated host on Fox News, drew condemnations for his comments about “replacement” on another Fox show Thursday evening.

In the ADL’s ensuing letter on Friday, first obtained by CNN Business, Greenblatt accused Carlson of an “open-ended endorsement of white supremacist ideology.”

Appearing with his friend Mark Steyn, who was filling in at 7 p.m. ET, Carlson invoked “white replacement theory,” a racist conspiracy theory that imagines White people are being intentionally replaced by immigrants.

“No, no, no,” Carlson said, insisting that he wasn’t parroting the theory.

But then he said “this is a voting rights question. I have less political power because they’re importing a brand new electorate. Why should I sit back and take that? The power that I have as an American guaranteed at birth is one man, one vote, and they’re diluting it. No, they are not allowed to do that. Why are we putting up with this?”

His remarks came in the context of a conversation about how the government treats migrants who cross the southern border — one of the most frequent topics on Fox.

Moments earlier, Carlson seemed to predict that he would spark outrage: “Now,” he said, “I know that the left and all the little gatekeepers on Twitter become literally hysterical if you use the term ‘replacement,’ if you suggest that the Democratic Party is trying to replace the current electorate, the voters now casting ballots, with new people, more obedient voters from the Third World. But they become hysterical because that’s what’s happening actually. Let’s just say it: That’s true.”

No one is being “replaced.” Existing voters are not being exchanged for the “more obedient” migrants Carlson imagines. Of Course we are being replaced bagel boys !

But Carlson has raised this notion repeatedly on his own 8 p.m. program. In Friday’s letter to Fox, Greenblatt said “at ADL, we believe in dialogue and giving people a chance to redeem themselves, but Carlson’s full-on embrace of the white-supremacist replacement theory on yesterday’s show and his repeated allusions to racist themes in past segments are a bridge too far.”

The letter pointed out that “replacement theory” is what “undergirds the modern white supremacist movement in America.”

The theory was beamed onto American TV screens when men marched in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017 and said “Jews will not replace us” and “you will not replace us.”

And the theory has been cited by racist mass murderers, including the man who attacked a Walmart in El Paso, Texas in 2019.

“This is not legitimate political discourse,” Greenblatt wrote to Scott.

A spokeswoman for Scott did not respond to a request for comment about the ADL’s call.

Jonathan Chait, writing for New York Magazine, said Carlson has been appealing to racists

“for years with wink-and-nod messages that dovetail with their paranoid themes,” and “last night his embrace of white supremacy crossed an important and dangerous new threshold.”

The ADL has had success with these campaigns in the past. Last year, Facebook expanded its hate- speech policy to include Holocaust denial after the ADL published an extensive investigation that showed numerous instances of conspiratorial anti-Semitism on the platform in violation of the company’s policies on hate speech.

But if history is any guide, Fox will take no action. Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch have ignored past criticism of Carlson.

And they have tripled down on Carlson’s brand of commentary, including with a recent expansion of Carlson content to the Fox Nation streaming service.

All this is both good (because I will exploit it shortly) and bad, because FOX has been a Deep-State controlled opposition network from Day One.

This is the jews creating a faux safety valve for angry Whites: Instead  of doing something, watch Tucker at 8pm in his high, whiny voice railing away against “the left” (and BLM, and Antifa, and the Bidens, and border chaos).

Then Tucker (who, btw, seems to be a sincere and good guy) also denounces, mantra-like,  white supremacism and racism in every other episode. The classic sign of his being coopted is trottting out the “truly color-blind society” stuff that Martin Luther King demanded at the Lincoln Memorial in 1963, in his “I Have A Dream” speech, an America based on “the content of our character, not the color of our skin.”

Note the white cop vigilantly scanning the crowd —  the egoic mind means this guym, like so many other cops, will do anything to keep that paycheck coming (and now pardon my bluntness) so he can get keep on getting pussy from his (libtard or risk-averse) old lady. 99% of white cops know very well that Blacks are an enormous source of crime, disorder, laziness, welfare-queenism — and mortal danger to them as cops!

Stanley David Levison (May 2, 1912 – September 12, 1979) was an American businessman and lawyer who became a lifelong activist in progressive causes. He is best known as an advisor to, and close friend of Martin Luther King Jr., for whom he helped write speeches, raise funds, and organize events.

Stanley David Levison was born in New York City on May 2, 1912, to a Jewish family. Levison attended the University of Michigan, Columbia University, and the New School for Social Research. He received two law degrees from St. John’s University. While serving as treasurer of the American Jewish Congress in Manhattan, he aided in the defense of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. [These jew traitors sold the secret of the atomic bomb to our mortal enemy, Soviet Russia! They got the electric chair in 1953.]

During this period, he worked for a variety of liberal causes.^[1]

In the early 1950s the FBI considered Levison to be a major financial coordinator for the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) and began to monitor his activities.

The FBI had him under the surveillance of Jack and Morris Childs, two former CPUSA members who became FBI informants. According to the FBI, Levison’s CPUSA activities ended in 1957.^[2]

[Levison] had initially been introduced to King by Bayard Rustin, a Quaker, in New York City in 1956. Though King had offered to pay Levison in exchange for his help, Levison refused on every occasion, as he believed “the liberation struggle is the most positive and rewarding area of work anyone could experience.”^[1]

He was questioned by the FBI twice, on February 9 and March 4, 1960.^[3] Two years later, on April 30, 1962, he was called to testify under subpoena at an executive session of the Senate Subcommittee on Internal Security, where he was represented by William Kunstler. Large parts of his testimony are still classified.^[4]

Although there was no evidence of Levison having further ties to the CPUSA, the FBI used his earlier communist history to justify wiretaps and bugs on his offices and the offices and hotel rooms of Martin Luther King. FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover had long associated the civil rights movement with communism, and he strongly expected that Levison would use or manipulate King to stimulate political unrest within the United States. In 2012, Tim Weiner wrote in his history of the FBI that Hoover believed Levison had “indoctrinated King in Marxist thought and subversive strategies”, and that King was “part of Moscow’s grand design to subvert the United States of America.”^[5]

Levison was instrumental in all the activities of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), the organization established by Dr. King and other Southern black preachers to further the cause of civil rights.

He professionalized the fund raising of the organization and took on many of the publicity tasks, in addition to serving as Dr. King’s literary agent. He was also a close adviser to Dr. King and a ghostwriter for him.^[6]

Levison co-wrote with Clarence Benjamin Jones one of the drafts for Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech presented at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963.^[7] 

Some of Levison’s conversations with Dr. King are reproduced verbatim from FBI wiretaps in Taylor Branch’s biography of Dr. King, Parting the waters : America in the King years, 1954-63. Levison himself initiated the end of his public association with Dr. King in 1963, following the revelation to Dr. King’s circle that Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and then President John F. Kennedy had pressured Dr. King in person to break with Levison (and Jack O’Dell).^[8][9]

But Levison continued to advise Dr. King privately until Dr. King’s assassination in April 1968, and afterwards Levison continued to work with Dr. King’s wife Coretta Scott King. The Poor People’s Campaign in Washington, DC that took place from May 12, 1968 – June 24, 1968 was based on Levison’s proposal.^[8]

Andrew Young stated, “Stan Levison was one of the closest friends Martin King and I ever had. Of all the unknown supporters of the civil rights movement, he was perhaps the most important.”

Coretta Scott King said, “Stanley Levison was more than one of my husband’s most loyal and supportive friends. He was [a] trusted and dedicated adviser, a role he continued to play in support of my work at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Social Change.”^[8]

In 1978, one year before his death, Levison asserted

“I was not nor am I now a member of the Communist Party.”^[8] [LIE!]

After suffering from cancer and diabetes, Levison died in 1979.^[1]

Legacy[edit]

Levison’s role as advisor and friend to King was portrayed by actor Steven Hill in King, a 1978 television miniseries.^[10] He was portrayed by Larry Keith in the 1983 miniseries Kennedy^[11] He is also portrayed by Bruce Nozick in the 2016 television film All the Way.^[12]

Levison’s role as advisor and friend to King was documented in the 2021 documentary film MLK/FBI, directed by Sam Pollard.

The film is based on declassified FBI files and includes archival materials.

NPR states, “As MLK/FBI explains, it’s King’s association with Stanley Levison, a progressive lawyer and businessman with Communist Party ties, that initially caught the attention of Hoover.”^[13] The New Yorker review states, “Of particular interest to the Bureau was King’s close associate Stanley Levison, who had formerly harbored Communist sympathies and, as a treasurer in the American Jewish Congress, had supported the defense of the Rosenbergs. On the strength of such weak links, Robert Kennedy, the Attorney General, was asked to approve the covert wiretapping of King, whom he openly admired. Kennedy complied.”^[14]
