Yesterday the Syrian president and his family were back safely on board the aircraft special B6131 of Air China.
The fighter jets of five countries, in relays, flew alongside his jet and escorted him home.
The special plane B6131 of Air China first entered the airspace of Pakistan with its J-10 fighters (photo).
Pakistani fighter pilots then immediately took off and brought the Assad jet to the port city in the south of their country, Karachi.
After leaving the air space of Pakistan, the special plane of Assad’s regime entered the airspace over the Arabian Sea. Iran ordered its combat aircraft to accompany the flight along the Persian Gulf.
As the third participant, fighters from Saudi Arabia took to the air to protect the special plane of Assad, right up to the border area with Jordan.
After entering into the airspace of Syria, combat aircraft from the Russians escorted the special plane to a safe landing at Syria’s big airport in the capital, Damascus.
