All the greater is the enthusiasm with which the blockbuster “Black Panther” by Marvel is now being recorded in various African countries. A US superhero movie indeed – but one that feeds on very different levels from African cultures. In the US, “Black Panther” ran strong: 25.2 million US dollars (20.3 million euros), the film played alone with the previews on Thursday, after all, the second best result for a Marvel production ever. But more exciting is the response in Africa.
Whether in Addis Ababa, Johannesburg, Lagos or Nairobi – everywhere the proud and artful Afrofuturism of “Black Panther” is stormily celebrated. ( See here the premiere pictures. ) The hype must be imagined as in a “Star Wars” work: at previews and premieres, the audience appeared in various African cities in wardrobe and with accessories that had been modeled on the film.
The location of “Black Panther” is the fictional African country Wakanda, which has developed its own high technology on the one hand, and is shaped by traditional African forms and patterns in the lifeworld on the other. The spaceships of this black utopia, for example, are shaped like traditional masks. The hero is elegantly dressed and speaks English with a coloring of the South African Xhosa dialect.
The message is: the future is black.
Celebration of African self-esteem
The film, watched by the steadily growing middle class in African cities in technically sophisticated IMAX cinemas, is also seen as an answer to Donald Trump’s unspeakable statements in which he called countries of the continent “shitholes”. The spectacular premiere in Johannesburg, where many viewers in colorful “Black Panther” -like presentation came to the movies and the announcements were made on Xhosa, evolved to celebrate African self-esteem.
Presenting “Black Panther” ensemble member John Kani made fun of the US President’s failures, and well-known South African actress Connie Chiume said after the premiere: “When we leave the movie theater, the room, the world will be different.”
In Nigeria, the superhero film caused a sensation. The country has the most virile film industry on the continent, called Nollywood, where up to 1000 films are shot there each year with the lowest budget, almost exclusively for the African market. At the premiere in Lagos on Friday, Nollywood stars and local filmmakers arrived, many wore African robes that were combined with the futuristic elements of the film.
“Finally we were not dressed like slaves. Finally we are being seen in really good clothes,” commented then the young director Bolaji Kekere-Ekun about the film. “He made use of our rich treasures of art and fashion.” Nigeria, Africa’s largest economic power, is one of the centers of modern art and fashion; The US blockbuster also shows Africa’s potential in these areas.
The Afrofuturistic film art work thus also suggests an economic-political reading: Those who, like Trump, isolate themselves against alleged African “shitholes”, who abused the continent only as a cheap backdrop, also gamble away the opportunity to participate in its future wealth. The shotholes strike back.

A hardcore WN comrade, supporter, husband and father wrote me regarding the new black-pride SF movie “Black Panther”:
“Good morning, John. I have a minute. I did decide to go see ‘Black Panther’ on Monday with my oldest daughter. The movie really isn’t bad at all. As far as superhero fantasy movies go, it’s good. And some of the analysis I’ve read is right. The fictitious nation of ‘Wakanda’ is successful because they keep to themselves, exclude outsiders, and don’t share their tech. It’s funny, because the way the movie ends, the king is probably putting his ‘Wakanda’ at risk, because he decides to open up the borders and help all people of African descent worldwide. LOL! I’ll talk more later, gotta run!”

Dumb. I don’t see a reason to be negative about the movie. In fact, if it inspires some “youts” to pull their heads out of their asses and strive to be more, then I’m all for it.

The guy who does the review goes by “Black Nerd”, and I wanted to find the vid because THIS is the one that “sven” found at TRS to play at the start of the Daily Shoah. He sampled out this guy screaming “Wakanda”. But in context, he’s doing it to be funny, but also because he’s relieved it was a good movie. Now, if all Africans were like Black Nerd here, we wouldn’t be having any conversations about black crime, separation, etc…..The white DNA is strong in this girl. 😉

Since for jews they themselves are so immensely superior that they view all others as mere two-legged animals whose purpose is to serve jews (according to some if not all rabbis), then all jews are actually “super-jews”.
So jews don’t need films to prop-up their self-esteem – they have the talmud.
Really bizarre stuff. We live in interesting times. Fact is the negro will number in the billions by mid century. There will be more of them than any other race, including the Chinese.
The reason for their population explosion is due only to hand outs from non-negroid nations. So the movie itself is comical and completely inaccurate. It is very unnerving to know that the black will infest the West in the hundreds of millions in just a few decades. The majority of the Stone-Age negros are under thirty. The world will be a whole other place in a very time. Just imagine a world with a black majority. Scary stuff. Dysfunction will be the new norm.
I’m sure a plan is currently being worked on to make the middle-class white tax payers flip the bill to help build Wakanda in Africa like we did for Israel.

All races should have their culture, heritage, and their own turf where they can be themselves among themselves.
No intromission by other races and no mingling.
This is the authentic meaning of “diversity”.
Sadly, the true meaning of this Word has been twisted by parties interested in creating havoc with destructive agendas.
Also, all races are entitled to have their pride and dignity taking into account that they are not equal to others.
Since races are different, it is not good to compare between them.
Every one has their strong and weak points. The important thing is that they don’t be evil toward others or themselves.
For example, I think that only blacks could have conquered a continent such as Ãfrica.
If blacks ever did make a high-tech civilization the first thing they would do is use genetic engineering to attempt to turn white and gain greater intelligence just as whites would try to boost themselves further like for instance keeping white skin’s higher efficiency at absorbing sunlight but acquiring new genes for being able to handle absorbing lots at once.
Blacks do not have this capacity either as their adaptation to high amounts of sunlight is to just absorb less, the combination of efficient absorption and increased absorptive capacity would be more generalized and deal with both high and low sunlight climates.
Another genetic boost any race would want is inventing tech to activate in normal cells the gene that causes sex cells to reverse the damage to their telomeres. That trait of sex cells is why procreation works.
Otherwise children would be born with aged cells. Immortality would also render race-mixing no longer as much of a threat to a race’s existence. Reproduction and reincarnation are only necessary fail-safes because of mainly aging anyways. It’d fix the issue of modern civilization having too many occupations for people to gain deep knowledge in all fields, causing a vast overall IQ increase. Development of psychic ability in a widespread way would also start to remove obstacles to focused thought. Even the smartest scientist can only stay awake so long. Someone able to maintain full consciousness even during sleep or someone lacking the need for sleep altogether could focus uninterrupted on an issue for far greater lengths of time and likely have better mental capacity as a result. The same goes with overcoming other needs like food and water, although even when that is currently impossible meditation allows people to learn to control their thoughts and focus at will.
Overall even without all these things civilization’s technological capacity is more than enough to solve most problems like housing/food/etc, the limit is mainly the relatively psychopathic structure of society’s design in general. Creating an abundance in society with tech efficiency is an easily achievable feat. Poverty could certainly end altogether.
