The following story made me sick to the pit of my stomach. But before I share the AP report with you, I wanted to tell you a little about how I happened upon it, and what entered my mind when first seeing it.
.
Today I was bombarded with the usual doom-and-gloom bile in my news feed – Covid this, Trump that – daily beheadings and the liberals facilitating them, etc. It was the bog standard depressing assault on my sensibilities.
.
But there were two articles that caught my attention – not just because of how horrific they were – but because something told me I NEEDED to read them to confirm what my gut already KNEW about the race of the perpetrators.
.
The first was story about a white teen who had been stabbed to death in England by another “teen”.
The victim’s mother called her son “the perfect boy,” loving, and from what I read, it did appear he was a good kid.
.
Although this was a tragic tale, this is sadly all too common an occurrence in 2020 Britain.
.
Then there was the following story, which I will republish below, about a very different kind of “teen” who shot dead a beautiful Alsatian police dog.
.
Why did I feel I needed to read these stories?
I just wanted to see if the perpetrators were black!
.
Simply because before I clicked on either of these two news stories I just knew the perpetrators were going to be.
.
Lo and behold, they were….. 🙁
.
So….
.
Did I think they were going to be black because I am ‘prejudiced”? Or was it my being in tune with how this heinous world really works!
.
By now we MUST all know it was the latter.
.
Prepare to feel sick….
.
RIP fang and stay strong Officer Herrera.

He said: “I would like to offer my apologies and condolences to Officer Herrera for not only the killing of his K-9 partner Fang, but his best friend.

“I want to apologise to the victims for scaring them that night. And I owe my mother the biggest apology for letting her down.”

Recalling the incident, Officer Herrera told News4Jax :

“I heard two gunshots back-to-back, followed by a third. In between two and three, I heard Fang yelp, and soon as I came over the embankment, I kind of saw him coming to rest after falling and being shot.

Paskel fatally shot Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office K9 named Fang “This animal, I spent more time with than my family. He was with me when I was with my family, but he was also with me when I was not with my family. So, it’s without a doubt, you get a humongous bond with this animal. All handlers feel this way.”

The judge ordered Paskel to pay $8,000 restitution to the Sheriff’s Office, along with $518 in court fees. He must be employed while on probation, which could be reduced to five years with good behavior.

His lawyers had argued for a 15-year sentence with no probation.
