The Afrikaans media in SA is now reporting on this event, with a group photo from Stavropol, Russia and big headlines. A member of the Schlebusch family that went to Russia to visit and look around sent me an important comment and correction, found after this article.
There are now three serious article, among them one on an Israeli website, and by RT [Russia Today, an official Russian-government media outlet], claiming that 15,000 Boer farmers will move to southern Russia — to the beautiful Caucasus region.

A delegation of 30 South African farming families has arrived in Russia’s farmbelt Stavropol region, Rossiya 1 TV channel reports. The group says it is facing violent attacks and death threats at home.

Up to 15,000 Boers, descendants of Dutch settlers in South Africa, are planning to move to Russia amid rising violence stemming from government plans to expropriate their land, according to the delegation.

Under Vladimir Putin, traditional Christianity is strongly supported and defended by the state against atheism, militant homosexuals, and the strange cults and sects such as Jehovah’s Witnesses and Scientology that were imported from the West by Freemasons, the CIA, George Soros and other subversive operators back in the terrible Boris Yeltsin years of 1991-99.

The new South African government lead by President Cyril Ramaphosa has pledged to return the lands owned by white farmers since the 1600s to the black citizens of the country. [sic] The government said it is planning to put an end to what it calls the legacy of apartheid, where most of South Africa’s land is still in the hands of its minority white population.
Rights groups have said the initiative incites violence. There were 74 farm murders and 638 attacks, primarily against white farmers, in 2016-17 in South Africa, according to data by minority rights group AfriForum.
The farmers are ready to make a contribution to Russia’s booming agricultural sector, according to Rossiya 1. Each family is ready to bring up to $100,000 for leasing the land.
Russia has 43 million hectares of unused farmland. The country has recently begun giving out free land to Russian citizens to cultivate farming. The land giveaway program, which began in 2014, has been a huge success.

He did not mention them. He was a fervent Calvinist Christian, thus a typical Boer, and not anti-Semitic. He prophesied that the Germans would lose two world wars but win, that is, survive — alone — the third one.

Well, if this is true, then it has good and bad sides.
A good thing would be obviously the safety for the Boers who go to Russia. The bad side would be the risk, that they would mix with the Russians and Asians there. But if the Boers go there and only breed with their own people, and do not die out as a people, then it should be perfect for them.

My husband led this delegation. What you are stating is not entirely accurate. It was only our family that went there, not a delegation of 30. However, about 30 families have showed support and interest so far. But we are glad for the media attention so the world can see the desperation of the white South African farmers and our dire situation in South Africa.

I would thus expect Putin to avoid offending the South African regime and seek a very quiet way to help the Boers.
There is also Kazakstan just South of Russia that is a beautiful fairly new developing country and is also the 6th largest export of wheat. They also plant other crops as well. Maybe they would love to have farmers with the knowledge of good farming. Google this Country, the towns are new and clean. They just celebrated their 20th year anniversary with the new president that picked this country up out of ashes. Amazing place. Google and see the potential, you never know.
