David Irving’s new book on Himmler; my salute to an incredible man

I wasn’t sure David Irving would finish and release this book that he’s been working on for decades, but he has.

It starts with the Himmler quote ‘In life one must always be decent and brave and kind’.

So far, I’m on page 33 (and no, I’m not a Freemason 😄😉)  and will continue later.

Irving has also suffered huge persecution, serious prosecution, done hard time in prison, has lost millions, and saw the jews destroy his once high-flying career as an author of bestsellers.

His books are sometimes negative toward NS leaders, which may be partly just truthfulness (we-all-have-our-flaws 😉 ) and partly a desire to not seem “pro-Nazi,” though he most certainly IS. 🙂

The son of a Royal  Navy officer, but fluent in German, and a once very handsome and sturdy chap, his first bestseller was read by me when it came out in 1964, when I was ten, dealing with the shocking Anglo-American bombing of Dresden.

Back then, Irving was carried in every bookstore and even in the paperback rack in my local CVS drugstore in my town of Barrington, Rhode Island.

So when the jews ruined Irving’s career, he lost a lot. 

He has also both long “denied” and also briefly “affirmed” the Holohoax in the wake of doing a year in a nasty Austrian prison in 2005-06, after getting a vicious three-year sentence.

Personally, I know him enough to say that I have seen him display a pretty gigantic ego, but I am happy to overlook that in view of his genius, bravery and absolutely outstanding work in the service of the truth and thus of our race. 🙂

During the 9 November 1923 Munich putsch attempt, Himmler, a former Bavarian Army reservist, marched in the second row, just behind Rudolf Hess, risking his life in a massacre where 16 good men were killed all about him — all because of the disgraceful betrayal of the putschists by Bavarian prime minister Gustav von Kahr.

With  Gudrun (a lifelong active NS who helped persecuted SS comrades; a good friend of mine knew her; she died in 2018 at age 88), and his wife Margarete

As I have said above, I have not yet read this book, but I will say that Himmler, like Hess, Goebbels and Goering, was an outstanding man.

And had it not been for his Waffen-SS, which stood firm, like a rock in the surf, as the Germans say (“wie ein Fels in der Brandung“)  after the catastrophe of Stalingrad (January 1943), when we lost 300,000 men, the entire Eastern Front might have collapsed that very same year.

The German Army was superb, but the Waffen-SS was even better, and intensely national socialist.

Were it not for these Waffen-SS heroes, then Stalin’s raping, torturing, mass-murdering communists might have taken all of Europe long before the Western Allies landed in France on D-Day (June 1944).

Even worse, had Stalin conquered all of the Continent, uniting the skilled and very industrialized Germany under marxism, and then adding 300 million other Western Europeans to his pitiless war machine, it is conceivable that he would have had the strength to conquer England by 1944  and then perhaps subdue America itself by 1950.

So my hat goes off to Party comrade and Reichsführer SS Heinrich Himmler for creating the Waffen-SS — and for many other things.

If you are an American, Canadian or Briton, you can thank Heinrich Himmler that you did not grow up in misery under an openly marxist, horrific police state.
