My hero today is Ben Franklin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_Franklin), a white American, hero in war and peace, brilliant publisher, diplomat, businessman, scientist, inventor, wit, political leader, and key Founding Father of the United States.
He lived a very long life span for colonial times, 84 dynamic years, from 1706 to 1790, and was easily the most beloved man in America for virtually all of his life. He was also extremely pro-white, negative toward blacks, and even openly pro-Nordic in his published views as to who should be allowed to immigrate into the thirteen colonies. In his famous article “America, a land of opportunity” in 1750, he said America should have as much of the rosy, that is, pink-skinned race as possible, and fewer tawny people, that is, the slightly coffee-colored white immigrants such as were then coming in from southernmost Germany or France, and he wanted no more negroes coming in at all.

Why should we, in the Sight of Superior Beings, darken [our] People? Why increase the Sons of Africa, by planting them in America, where we have so fair an Opportunity, by excluding all Blacks and Tawneys, of increasing the lovely White and Red [complections]? This article had a big effect on US immigration policy, and every federal immigration law between 1792 and 1952 specified only whites were to enter the United States. Franklin’s pro-Nordic views even started the ball rolling that led finally to the 1924 Johnson Act, which basically promoted only immigration from northern Europe.
This pro-Nordic law was in effect for 40 years, until 1965, when the half-Jewish president Lyndon Johnson, the Jewish congressman Emanuel Celler of Brooklyn, and Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts got it repealed…..and replaced by a new federal policy favoring third world immigration.
Benjamin Franklin invented the lightning rod…..

He invented bifocal glasses
….which have enabled hundreds of millions of people over 50 to read comfortably,
He invented the Franklin stove, which replaced the very inefficient fireplace. If you have any experience with fireplaces, well, his stove fixed the millennia-old problem that most of the heat unfortunately went up the chimney and not into the room, and much of the somewhat toxic smoke did NOT go up the chimney, but …..instead into the room 😉 !
So what did Franklin do with all his inventions? He gave them all away to the public, writing a friend in 1744:
“As we enjoy great advantages from the inventions of others [who went before us], we should be glad of an opportunity to serve others by any invention of ours, and this we should do freely and generously.”
No jewish billionaire attitude there…
The brilliant Franklin also invented the first odometer, then used to indicate how many miles a horse and carriage had traveled, and he conceived and developed the glass ‘armonica,’ which once was a very popular musical instrument and still today sounds magical and beautiful…..37 wine glasses turning on a spindle.
This great white American of English stock also formed both the first public lending library in America and the first fire department in Pennsylvania.
He played a major role in establishing the University of Pennsylvania, one of the great Ivy League universities, and became the first British postmaster for all thirteen colonies, and then was the political representative of all thirteen colonies to Parliament in London, protesting the increasing choking off of the traditional freedoms that Americans had enjoyed for 150 years before King George.
As US ambassador to the king of France, Louis the 16th, he pulled off the miracle of getting the absolutist, Catholic French monarchy….

….to send millions in cash, French ships and troops to support the new protestant, American republic, because the British Empire was then our mutual enemy. Without French help, the American Revolution would 100% have ended in failure, and in the hanging for treason of all the Founding Fathers too. Ben Franklin really came through on that one.
His heart was broken when his own son William sided against his father and for the British during the American Revolution and the two men, father and son, never spoke again. When the revolutionaries won, his Tory son fled to England and stayed there for the rest of his life.
Now what was Benjamin Franklin’s specific view of God and religion? He, like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, was not a regular Christian but a Deist. In fact, he believed in reincarnation, as did the Vikings, the ancient Kelts, and many famous Greeks, including the great scientist Pythagoras, who came up with the geometry theorem named after him, and the great philosopher Plato. Franklin once wrote:
“I look upon death to be as necessary to the constitution as sleep. We shall rise refreshed in the morning.” And, “Finding myself to exist in the world, I believe I shall, in some shape or other, always exist.”
And Franklin was sure that a justified revolution is obedience to the divine will. On July 4, 1776, after the Declaration of Independence had been signed, he proposed to Adams and Jefferson as the future motto of the United States:
“Rebellion against tyrants is obedience to God.”
