I would rather have a few strong and fervent friends and supporters than many fair-weather friends, “summer patriots” (as Thomas Paine said) and users. I can say — on my fifty-sixth birthday today — that I am blessed with wonderful friends, loyal supporters, wise conselors and noble volunteers all over the world, and I have heard from many of them today.
