To the best of my knowledge, Ashley, you are not a high-profile activist. I think, and I mean this seriously, that your stunning nordic looks are what is freaking them out. I have blogged several times how a Jewish ophthalmologist (affiliated with the Walmart in Springfield, Virginia, a Wash. DC suburb) freaked out over me when I was just sitting in his examining chair to get fitted for contact lenses. He began babbling and pulled out some Israeli shekel banknotes and told me how he sends his kids to summer camp in Israel. I just sat there and enjoyed the show.

 

For me, it all confirms my theories that Jews are descended from neanderthals and we are descended from their enemies, the Cro Magnons.
