Edgar Allan Poe wrote of reincarnation feelings in his short story “Berenice” (https://poestories.com/read/berenice)
…it is mere idleness to say that I had not lived before –that the soul has no previous existence. You deny it? — let us not argue the matter. Convinced myself, I seek not to convince. There is, however, a remembrance of aerial forms — of spiritual and meaning eyes –of sounds, musical yet sad –a remembrance which will not be excluded; a memory like a shadow, vague, variable, indefinite, unsteady;
This is very typical of thousands of years of writing by great men and women about reincarnation — 1) that strong feeling that you know someone (or some place) already.
Other indicators are 2) tremendous inborn talents for a certain skill, and 3) kids being born already having fully-formed, hardened, solid personalities, quirks and habits.
Only a few people have actual memories of a past life, usually associated (70%) with a traumatic death at an early age, but not always.
Ian Stevenson, MD and his successor, James Tucker, MD at the University of Virginia Medical School, have focused on these traumatized young people with flashbacks to a violent death.
Usually, however, these memories do fade away by age five or so.

Jim Tucker, MD
The research by Stevenson and Tucker has been incredibly valuable because, for the first time (and fueled by a $1 million bequest from the founder of Xerox and inventor of the photocopy machine, Chester Carlson), they are doing formal scientific case-studies on very large numbers of definite reincarnation cases — over 2,500 since 1965!
This goes, in terms of credibility, way,way beyond 1) that déjà vu feeling so many, many, many people have betimes, 2) the feeling of instantaneous, powerful attractions or dislikes, or 3) seeing kids born with amazing talents which nothing in their environment, while growing up, can really explain.
As I have blogged, my own parents were baffled that I, from age five on, while being only 1/16th German (and even that sixteenth I did not know of at the time), glommed fanatically onto everything German!
Not only did I start studying German with a passion, at five, but I, unlike almost all other Americans, speak it with a perfect accent, but also the Austrian dialect…..
And as a kid, with FAR less than zero encouragement from my family (to say the least, given that my dad was a WWII vet), I felt 1) drawn to national socialism, 2) horrified by its defeat and 3) revolted by the degeneracy in modern American “culture.”
When I first went by the NSWPP headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, I got a bunch of their literature. The very next week I was there again, and was already totally convinced about the Jewish Question.
Then I mentioned the “Holocaust,” and the duty officer, Frederick Verduin, said (trying not to shock me, as if I were just another “normie” who needed to be gently “eased into” the truth) that the Party actually kinda doubted that the Jewish Holocaust ever really happened. 😉
To Fred’s utter amazement, with me already having drawn the full, harsh conclusions from my reading about the Jews — and having become totally hard-core in just one week on the whole JQ — I was crestfallen to hear from him that the Holo (with which we are constantly guilt-tripped) had never even happened.
Appalled, I said to Fred:
“If the Jews are as wicked and dangerous as you say, Fred, then, when Hitler had all this power at his disposal over the Jews in Europe, why did he NOT go ahead and holocaust them?!?!
Letting them go is just like seeing a huge, nasty cockroach head right past you into your kitchen, and yet not squashing it instantly with your boot when you had a perfect chance!”
.
Heck, after one week, I was already out-radicalizing Hitler. 😉 There was certainly no need for Fred Version (who, BTW, was active-duty Army and Old Guard) to pull his punches with me. 😉
.
But, getting back directly to reincarnation, before Drs. Stevenson and Tucker came along with their rigorous scientific studies of flashback kids who had died violently, what sustained reincarnation for millennia among the great minds of the West has been these puzzling phenomena:
1) déjà vu,
2) instant, fierce dislikes and also powerful attractions, and
3) absolutely inborn talents.
Here now is a poem by the great Alfred Lord Tennyson, poet laureate of Britain for many years under Queen Victoria. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred,_Lord_Tennyson)
Early Sonnets, Number One
As when with downcast eyes we muse and brood,
And ebb into a former life, or seem
To lapse far back in some confused dream
To states of mystical similitude;
If one but speaks or hems or stirs his chair,
Ever the wonder waxeth more and more,
So that we say, “All this hath been before,
All this hath been, I know not when or where”.
So, friend, when first I look’d upon your face,
Our thought gave answer each to each, so true—
Opposed mirrors each reflecting each—
That tho’ I knew not in what time or place,
Methought that I had often met with you,
And either had lived in either’s heart and speech.
Voltaire, the great French Enlightenment philosopher, historian and novelist (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voltaire), wrote
The Socinians or Unitarians [opponents of standard Christian theology] make capital of the doctrine [of “Saint” Paul] of “original sin.” They call the acceptance of this doctrine “the original sin of Christianity.” It is an outrage against God, they say. To dare to say that He created all the successive generations of mankind only to subject them to eternal punishment under the pretext that their original ancestor ate of a particular fruit in a garden is to accuse Him of the most absurd barbarity.
***
Paul, a Sanhedrin Pharisee who infiltrated and took over Christianity, radically reworking it into a pro-Jewish new religion,
.
..invented the notion of “original sin” — that the supposed God of Love sentenced us all to eternal hellfire because our ancestor, Adam, disobediently ate the apple of “the knowledge of good and bad.”
Jesus then had to die to lift His Father’s curse.
So His death was not just a foul murder by the Jews, ya see, but God actually WANTED Jesus to be killed by the Jews, so the Jews were God’s means to bring salvation and life in heaven to us hell-bound goyim….
Yeahhhhh, right…
So the Jews are “still” to be seen by us Goys as “God’s Chosen People”….. and certainly should not be dealt with — once and for all.
***
This sacrilegious imputation is even more inexcusable among Christians, since there is no mention of this invention of original sin either in the Pentateuch [the first five books of the Old Testament] or in the Gospels [the first four books of the New Testament][…]
Souls were either created from all eternity, with the result that they are infinitely older than Adam’s sin, and have no connection with it, or they are formed at the time of conception, with the result that God must exercise eternal vigilance and create in each instance a new spirit that He will render eternally miserable.”

I expect to publish more material with my comments from this book, Reincarnation: the Phoenix Fire Mystery.

Geronimo tells a story of reincarnation
Geronimo – Story of his Life.

“Once when living in San Carlos Reserva-tion an Indian told me that while lying un-conscious on the battlefield he had actually been dead, and had passed into the spirit land. First he came to a mulberry tree growingout from a cave in the ground. Before this cave a guard was stationed, but when he approached without fear the guard let him pass. He descended into the cave, and a little way back the path widened and termi-nated in a perpendicular rock many hun-dreds of feet wide and equal in height. There was not much light, but by peeringdirectly beneath him he discovered a pile of sand reaching from the depths below to within twenty feet of the top of the rock where he stood. Holding to a bush, he swung off from the edge of the rock and dropped onto the sand, sliding rapidly down its steep side into the darkness. He landed in a narrow passage running due westward through a cañon which gradually grew lighter and lighter until he could see as well as if it had been daylight; but there was no sun. Finally he came to a section of this passage that was wider for a short distance, and then closing abruptly continued in a narrow path; just where this section nar-rowed two huge serpents were coiled, andrearing their heads, hissed at him as he ap-proached, but he showed no fear, and as soonas he came close to them they withdrew quietly and let him pass. At the next place, where the passage opened into a wider sec-tion, were two grizzly bears prepared to at-tack him, but when he approached and spoke to them they stood aside and he passed un-harmed. He continued to follow the nar-row passage, and the third time it widened and two mountain lions crouched in the way, but when he had approached them without fear and had spoken to them they also with-drew. He again entered the narrow pas-sage. For some time he followed this, emerging into a fourth section beyond which he could see nothing: the further walls of this section were clashing together at regular intervals with tremendous sounds, but when he approached them they stoodapart until he had passed. After this he seemed to be in a forest, and following the natural draws, which led westward, soon came into a green valley where there were many Indians camped and plenty of game. He said that he saw and recognized manywhom he had known in this life, and that he was sorry when he was brought back to consciousness. ”

Thank you. Very interesting. It seems that his angels compassionately gave him adventures that were appropriate to his Indian culture and mindset.
It’s very hard for me to accept that there is A god, The God. If it were so, he could snap a finger to make everything right and grant us the knowledge we need with the same snap of his finger. If this is so, then this must be the ultimate fantasy game that our youth love so much.
Okay, I will address this good question soon in an article.
Pauline Christianity has soured many of us on the whole God idea. It all seems so unreal and a cynical fairy tale….. and, worse, the Baby Jesus tales, and the Lamb of God, how we are going to sit on thrones up in heaven, and judge the Twelve Tribes of Israel — just infantile.
And, worse, it is all infantilizing. Unadult, immature.
Overly yin/overly female.
For we know this: love does NOT conquer all.
Killing the wicked is often the only answer.
I have run this graphic before, dear comrade, but it really does just about say it all, and so very concisely:
But I will respond in detail to this huge question. Why would a loving God not fix the world for His suffering children?
Most searingly, why did He let the utterly bad guys win in 1945?
The deputy mayor of Leipzig, Germany and his wife and daughter ended their lives in May 1945, unwilling to live in a sordid, ignoble, ugly, post-NS world. The poor Germans were about to descend from a relative heaven — the time under Hitler was the only time in recorded history when a whole nation was really happy — to an absolute Jew hell.
Americans, Brits, Irish, Swedes – they never even tasted, never even knew, what heaven on earth could be like, when people REALLY loved one another!
