Haaretz: “Israel is an evil state”

I met a brilliant, kind, funny Canadian Jew at my new favorite café, Steam. He learned Hebrew and had studied the Talmud — in Israel!

He acknowledged the dark side within his culture, just as I acknowledged the horrors that Gentiles commit.

I wish him well. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could end this conflict like the civilized, intelligent people we all are most of the time until propaganda flips a red switch and we go nuts on each other?

Haaretz is a major Israeli newspaper to which I subscribe. Sadly, it has little influence on the masses. But it speaks truth, and proves there are truly good Jews with compassion and conscience.
