Scott Ritter is a former US Marine Corps intelligence officer. He served in the Soviet Union as an inspector implementing the INF Treaty, in General Schwarzkopf’s staff during the Gulf War, and from 1991-1998 as a UN weapons inspector. [He constantly and heroically denounced Dubya’s planned invasion of Iraq in 2003, insisting there was NO evidence Saddam had WMDs.] Follow him on Twitter @RealScottRitter

Prior to the invasion of Iraq in March 2003, Ritter stated that Iraq possessed no significant weapons of mass destruction (WMD) capabilities, becoming according to The New York Times “the loudest and most credible skeptic of the Bush administration’s contention that Hussein was hiding weapons of mass destruction.”[1]

When the Commander of NATO says he is a fan of flexible first strike at the same time that NATO is flexing its military muscle on Russia’s border, the risk of inadvertent nuclear war is real.

US Air Force Gen. Tod D Wolters told the Senate this week he “is a fan of flexible first strike” regarding NATO’s nuclear weapons, thereby exposing the fatal fallacy of the alliance’s embrace of American nuclear deterrence policy.

*** JdN

Look at this jackass Wolter’s expression.

Is this guy a nice, regime-loyal pedophile, child murderer, and luciferian child-molester?

Not sure, but those who watch the Kay Griggs videos know the Deep State wants all top generals to be psychopaths and/or blackmailable.

Hell, yeah, this guy would launch nuclear missiles, fully cognizant that 1) it would devastate most of the planet earth and kill 90% of humanity. He also knows 2) that he and his are promised a place far down in a deep nuclear bunker for the “elites,” one of many which contain three years of food and water until the nuclear winter is over.

Actual US bunkers for the elite

Meanwhile, WE few who were not fried to death by nukes or killed subsequently by starvation during nuclear winter or killed and eaten by roaming, armed band of ruthless, hungry cannibals, are supposed to eagerly await our masters’ return.

Then 3) these assholes plan to re-emerge and re-assert their jew control over what is left of the USA….

….although it was their war-mongering, russophobic actions which will have devastated it.

It was one of the most remarkable yet underreported exchanges in recent Senate history. Earlier this week, during the testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee of General Tod Wolters, the commander of US European Command and, concurrently, as the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe (SACEUR) also the military head of all NATO armed forces, General Wolters engaged in a short yet informative exchange with Senator Deb Fischer, a Republican from the state of Nebraska.

Following some initial questions and answers focused on the alignment of NATO’s military strategy with the 2018 National Defense Strategy of the US, which codified what Wolters called “the malign influence on behalf of Russia” toward European security, Senator Fischer asked about the growing recognition on the part of NATO of the important role of US nuclear deterrence in keeping the peace. “We all understand that our deterrent, the TRIAD, is the bedrock of the security of this country,” Fischer noted. “Can you tell us about what you are hearing…from our NATO partners about this deterrent?

Wolters responded by linking the deterrence provided to Europe by the US nuclear TRIAD with the peace enjoyed on the European continent over the past seven decades. Fischer asked if the US nuclear umbrella was “vital in the freedom of NATO members”; Wolters agreed. Remarkably, Wolters linked the role of nuclear deterrence with the NATO missions in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere outside the European continent. NATO’s mission, he said, was to “proliferate deterrence to the max extent practical to achieve greater peace.”

Then came the pièce de resistance of the hearing. “What are your views, Sir,” Senator Fischer asked, “of adopting a so-called no-first-use policy. Do you believe that that would strengthen deterrence?

General Wolters’ response was straight to the point. “Senator, I’m a fan of flexible first-use policy.

Under any circumstance, the public embrace of a “flexible first-strike” policy regarding nuclear weapons employment by the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe should generate widespread attention.

When seen in the context of the recent deployment by the US of a low-yield nuclear warhead on submarine-launched ballistic missiles carried onboard a Trident submarine, however, Wolters’ statement is downright explosive.

Add to the mix the fact the US recently carried out a war game where the US Secretary of Defense practiced the procedures for launching this very same “low yield” weapon against a Russian target during simulated combat between Russia and NATO in Europe, and the reaction should be off the charts. And yet there has been deafening silence from both the European and US press on this topic.

There is, however, one party that paid attention to what General Wolters had to say–Russia. In a statement to the press on February 25–the same date as General Wolters’ testimony, Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister stated that

We note with concern that Washington’s new doctrinal guidelines considerably lower the threshold of nuclear weapons use.” Lavrov added that this doctrine had to be viewed in the light “of the persistent deployment of US nuclear weapons on the territory of some NATO allies and the continued practice of the so-called joint nuclear missions.

Rather than embracing a policy of “flexible first strike”, Lavrov suggested that the US work with Russia to re-confirm “the Gorbachev-Reagan formula, which says that there can be no winners in a nuclear war and it should never be unleashed.” This proposal was made 18 months ago, Lavrov noted, and yet the US has failed to respond.

Complicating matters further are the ‘Defender 2020’ NATO military exercises underway in Europe, involving tens of thousands of US troops in one of the largest training operations since the end of the Cold War. The fact that these exercises are taking place at a time when the issue of US nuclear weapons and NATO’s doctrine regarding their employment against Russia is being actively tracked by senior Russian authorities only highlights the danger posed.

Also on rt.com NATO’s Defender Europe 2020 is war against Russia role-play, no matter what they tell youOn February 6, General Valery Gerasimov, the Russian Chief of Staff, met with General Wolters to discuss ‘Defender 2020’ and concurrent Russian military exercises to be held nearby to deconflict their respective operations and avoid any unforeseen incidents. This meeting, however, was held prior to the reports going public about a US/NATO nuclear wargame targeting Russian forces, and prior to General Wolters’ statement about “flexible first use” of NATO nuclear weapons.

In light of these events, General Gerasimov met with French General François Lecointre, the Chief of the Defense Staff, to express Russia’s concerns over NATO’s military moves near the Russian border, especially the Defender 2020 exercise which was, General Gerasimov noted, “was held on the basis of anti-Russian scenarios and envisages training for offensive operations.”

General Gerasimov’s concerns cannot be viewed in isolation, but rather must be considered in the overall historical context of NATO-Russian relations. Back in 1983, the then-Soviet Union was extremely concerned about a series of realistic NATO exercises, known as ‘Able Archer ‘83,’ which in many ways mimicked the modern-day Defender 2020 in both scope and scale. Like Defender 2020, Able Archer ‘83 saw the deployment of tens of thousands of US forces into Europe, where they assumed an offensive posture, before transitioning into a command post exercise involving the employment of NATO nuclear weapons against a Soviet target.

Also on rt.com Dangerous games: US NUKES Russia in ‘mini exercise’ attended by Pentagon chiefSo concerned was Moscow about these exercises, and the possibility that NATO might use them as a cover for an attack against Soviet forces in East Germany, that the Soviet nuclear forces were placed on high alert.

Historians have since observed that the threat of nuclear war between the US and the USSR was at that time the highest it had been since the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.

US and NATO officials would do well to recall the danger to European and world security posed by the “Able Archer ‘83” exercise and the potential for Soviet miscalculations when assessing the concerns expressed by General Gerasimov today.

The unprecedented concentration of offensive NATO military power on Russia’s border, coupled with the cavalier public embrace by General Wolters of a “flexible first strike” nuclear posture by NATO, has more than replicated the threat model presented by Able Archer ’83. In this context, it would not be a stretch to conclude that

the threat of nuclear war between the US and Russia is the highest it has been since Able Archer ’83.

…..Full disclosure: Ritter’s private scandals

As his Wiki article details, he seems to be a quasi-hebephile (hébé in Ancient Greek means young teenage girl), in the sense that, online, he has come on to underage teenage girls — but in the 15/16-year-old range, which used to not be a crime at all legally, and in fact many girls were married and had children by this age in olden times.
.
Certainly, as anyone with daughters like myself knows, hébés — teenage girls 15 and older — are quite interested in sex, boys and men. But, obviously, I condemn this leaning Rittter seems to have, which is both illegal and unethical. Teens are still children in terms of brain development, they have raging hormones, and are unable to make good judgments.
.
Since Ritter’s activities were online, of course the Deep State feds knew all about his weakness, and were very happy to set him up and get this key, highly credible regime critic into serious trouble to discredit him.
.
Lessons:
.
1) Be as pure as the driven snow as you can in your private life so the feds cannot bust you, and
.
2) maintain a powerful support base that, whatever enemies and the gullible say, will not swallow organized regime slander campaigns.
.
That way, you can bounce back (as I have) from even the most extensive and massive campaigns of moral discreditation and character assassination. In the end, for those of good will, facts and actions are what count, and a slander campaign can even suggest to the wise that you are especially “the real deal” and not in the pocket of the Deep State if it hates and savages you so much.
.
When Henrik Holappa, at the behest of David Duke and Don Black, slandered me as a gf-beater in the spring of 2011 in order to please the authorities and get three Finnish charges dropped (two for “hate speech” and one truly ridiculous charge of copyright violation), it was Margaret’s own actions that made his charge unsustainable to any thinking, grounded observer.
.
We broke up in May of 2011, but in November 2012 Margi left behind her cushy life in Europe (courtesy of WN friends of mine) and her vacation condo owned by our friend, NS activist Pedro Varela, near Barcelona, Spain. And why? In order to return to me, although I was penniless (and this dingy, out-of-the-way cottage in the Appalachians had been indescribably filthy until I cleaned it up)…
.
But then she returned again to me in May 2018 from Asheville, North Carolina, after nursing her two sick parents until they passed on.
(I refused to go down there from the UP with her. Her parents, though truly wonderful folks, were typical Asheville ultra-liberals, and I feared very serious problems over that — and that Margi might lose even her inheritance over me, just as I had lost my own inheritance in 2012 due to my views.)
.
Margi, this native of the South and Southwest (born in Fort Myers, Florida, raised in North Carolina and Phoenix, Arizona) moved a thousand miles to the north to my area, one of eight months of snowy winter which she frankly hates. 😉
.
And let’s be realistic: there were two things that made her very attractive to other men:
.
1) who she is: good looks, great mind, great sense of humor, and an attractive body (not yet ravaged or emaciated by cancer, which, thank God, she is now recovering from)
.
.
2) and a nice little inheritance as well, one third of what her parents left for her and her two brothers. News flash: Men like a woman with money, too…. 😉 Believe me, many men came on to her via PMs on Facebook during those three years she was down in faraway Asheville. I saw their messages. 😉
(Sadly, her alternative cancer treatments, and fixing up the severely neglected house which she bought, devoured most of this, and revisionist Fred Leuchter welshed on her $20,000 loan to him.)
.
Yet she chose to move, a Southern girl, to my icy home way, way up in the UP, literally on the Canadian border,
.
.
All I could  offer this Carolina gal was snow and frigid cold 😉
.
And she not only moved up here, but bought a little house for cash right near my own rented home.
.
To get back with a penniless wife-beater? Please.
.
Well, the penniless part was true. 😉 This high-honors Georgetown graduate was cutting lawns to eke out economic survival, recording audio books, doing occasional help on roofing and construction, and working seven days a week on his website.
.
For anyone of good will, Margi’s actions in returning to this persecuted, FBI-targeted pauper indicate her love, loyalty, admiration and appreciation for me as a person, a man and for the execution of my NS mission — a new Aryan religion.
.
.
So the Holappa slanders against me as some kind of monster stand exposed by simple logic and common sense as highly dubious or even ridiculous.
.
And to his credit, Holappa apologized in January 2019 via webcam to me and Margi, partly at the urging of his rather pretty Chinese wife, who seems very nice, is a sincere Buddhist, and also is a critic of many things the communists do in her homeland, like suppressing religion. I accepted Holappa’s very sincere apology, which took great moral courage on his part. (He gained no material advantage out of it, only risk.)
.
But since he has not retracted it publicly — he clearly has a deal with the police to keep those three charges dropped — it is only of limited utility. In 2013, 2015 and 2019 I asked him to just simply retract them, and thrice he said to me the exact same two words: “I cannot.” And so Google still puts (forces) his 2011 garbage right up on page one under my name — nine long years later. 🙁
.
I just have to live with being slandered, and I must educate the best of our people on:
.
–1) the fact that the Deep State always slanders those critics whom 1) it truly cannot control and whose message and personality might catch on with the masses;
.
2) what slander is — false accusations, deliberately concocted, and with no factual backup;
.
3) who trains and conducts these professional vilification campaigns — the Deep State, which is the Jews; and
.
4) what this trait is, the egoic mind, that exists in the majority of humans, who are sadly of very low spirituality, such that they eagerly gobble defamations up, ignoring with great irritation the refutations: “Don’t confuse me with the facts!”  —  and which makes them frankly love to read invented dirt on another person.
.
The egoic mind loves looking down at others. It is found in both lowlifes and in religious fanatics who cherish their feeling of moral “superiority.” Both love to trash others.
.
.
Look at the National Enquirer and the Globe, trashing politicos and stars in every issue at every checkout counter. People really love reading that the rich and handsome are miserable too. 😉 They love gossip so much that they even buy Soap Opera Digest, which is gossip about people who do not even exist!
