It seems his teachings are only for people who are at a point in their lives where they are ready to hear him. Ten years ago i tried listening to this and it made no sence what so ever.

Yup. Same. I thought he was a blabbering fool. Had I heard heard that introductory story a year ago I would’ve thought that Tolle was saying that the Zen master created the Zen, rather than that he merely noticed it.

David Walker so true. We hear it with our souls, and when it’s ready we vibrate with it

Yes I have found this with books also that I attempted to read a few years ago and didn’t understand at all.. So a few years on the shelf and, wow, now it makes complete sense.. It actually encouraged me to re-read all my spiritual literature I had collected through the years. and they gave me a much deeper understanding each time I revisited them.

God bless suffering! It certainly got me there, after 2 decades of alcoholism, homelessness, and addictions. I now share ecky to any ears that ask the right questions on the “racing brain.”
