In financial desperation, should l just GIVE UP?

Kristine Huddleston John, expect it to be a thankless job. When my husband published a newsletter here in Canada in the late ’90s (“Winston’s Journal”) before (((they))) had it shut down, out of hundreds of subscribers many were leaders in the so-called “Movement” at the time. His articles were all copyrighted (he allowed people to re-publish articles IF credit was given and subscriber info) but that didn’t stop people from stealing his articles and publishing them without crediting him. One was a well-known monthly CI newspaper in the US that ran his story (I believe it was the first) on the White Mummies of China. They were very proud of their “trailblazing article”.

His articles were reproduced (with permission) by British and US newsletters that did credit him but several didn’t. He also gave free subscriptions to POWs but it finally got to the point that we were going broke. “Winston’s” was known as “the most photocopied newsletter in N. America” so why buy the cow when you could get the milk for free? Yes, like you, he did get some financial help from a handful of dedicated individuals but the freeloaders far outnumbered them. Yet here he was putting his head on the line in Canada where he was facing 5 years in jail for what he was doing while we were living on peanut butter sandwiches and macaroni with three kids to feed and him (and I) working part-time manual labor jobs to keep us afloat.

When the shit hit the fan and the JDL laid a complaint with the “Human Rights Commission” and RCMP, guess how much help we got out of a very large subscriber list and all the freeloaders to seek Legal aid? $650! That was it!!!

He was chased around and defamed by the media; our mail was stopped (except for the bills); the B’nai B’rith named him in their annual “Hate Crimes Report” two years in a row; every single member of the Canadian Parliament and Senate was given info on us and Criminal Charges urged; an illegal tap was placed on our phone (we traced it to the NSA — they watch Canadians and Canada returns the favor by tapping American’s phones thus skirting Domestic wiretapping Laws); the RCMP he had at one time worked for warned us twice to not open any suspicious packages left at our home, etc. as the JDL had us on their hit list;

Suspicious vehicles would park across from our home and watch us for hours and in the meantime the river flooded and we lost our home and virtually all our belongings and ended up living in a Disaster Service Trailer.

Then he was formally charged with “Promoting Hatred Against an Identifiable (((Group)))”. The only good thing about our story was that he was the first individual to win his case by claiming his Common Law Rights and escaping the clutches of (((them))). The case was quickly dropped when he did that (after a three year ordeal) but then the JDL started the harassing phone calls a day later. This only ended when a sympathetic cop traced their calls and scared them off. (It still took another year before our mail was restored and the phone tap removed).

So what did we learn from all this?

Two things: 1) If you are going to actually DO something for our Folk, don’t expect a lot of help, especially when it cuts into their beer money, and

2) Despite all that, with what you know you can never go back to being another Normaloid, brain-dead sheep. It’s all Karma, John.

You were meant to choose the path you are on and despite the hardship your reward will come. If not in this lifetime then soon in another. So we feel your pain and discouragement and know where you are coming from and realize what a thankless endeavor it can be at times to stand up but that was a life choice you made long ago (before you were even born) so please never give up because we won’t and we need you. If you awaken even one person you have done your duty.
