Is the US boasting it sank a major Russian warship?

The DM [Daily Mail] has been a major news outlet for generations. Is the US actually boasting it assisted in the sinking of the Moskva????

If the US is going to boast about indirectly killing Russians, that is like a man in a bar taunting another man in the earshot of all that he has been with his wife.
.
If you put up with it, you lose all face.
.
The Russians are going to have to hit back, and kill Americans, even if asymmetrically.

On the other hand, maybe it is all lies…with both Biden and Stealensky dreading an impending Russian victory and wanting to look good by getting a few good blows in.
.
Perhaps Russia will refuse to be overly provoked, and will not lash out and abandon the systematic “military plan worked out by the general staff,” as Putin recently put it.
.
And that plan is to encircle the main Ukrainian army, located for years now in the East (not anywhere near Kiev), and get it to surrender without a lot of casualties.

  1. Those countries that armed the Ukrainians will pay in the future. The Russians are patient and don’t forgive or forget.

Our politicians won’t suffer but the civilians will pay the price.
    .
That’s why politicians cause wars , and put up taxes as it doesn’t affect TREM.

    • Very true.

When a Russian kid grows up, and, sitting in the classroom, looks at the map, he sees this gigantic country and knows that it is his.

      It gives tremendous self-confidence.

He learns that the Mongols, Poles, Swedes, Napoleonic France and Hitler Germany all tried to conquer Russia….and despite initial defeats, Russia won in the end.

      • Russia covers 1/6th of the world’s land space.

Don’t forget the Allied contingent who fought in Russia in 1919 against the Reds. I saw a photo of some Australian troops in the snow wearing their Australian bush hats.

“The war to end all wars,” ah yes. There have been more wars since WW1 than before it. No bank roll — no wars
