@theduran Germans depicted as brutes in war and merely hiding theri brutality after the war as businessmen…. In reality, Germans & Austrians adhered strictly to the Geneva Convention and obeyed the laws of war as well as, or better, than the Anglo-Americans.

@theduran Vicious German nurse pours out water in front of a parched Allied prisoner. In reality, in both WWI and WWII Anglo-American military prisoners, POWs, were very well treated. In fact, only 1% in WWII died in German captivity (actually, of their wounds).
@theduran Also we see drawings (!) of Germans shooting “unarmed” civilians….. which they did not do unless they were actually civilians fighting without a uniform on as combattants. (The Americans also faced this in Korea and Vietnam, civilians shooting at them. My own father did in the Korean War as a Marine Corps captain.)

Both world wars have been fought by countries with empires to stop other economic countries from getting their own empires, and thus becoming an economic threat. The military threat is the excuse for conflict: both hot wars and cold wars….
