Virginia Tech Disenrolls 134 Unvaccinated Students
Virginia Tech has disenrolled more than 100 students for not meeting the COVID-19 vaccine requirement before the start of the fall semester, the university said Tuesday.
Some 134 students are no longer enrolled because they did not submit proof that they are vaccinated against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus or get approved for medical or religious exemptions by the start of classes on Aug. 23, Mark Owczarski, the associate vice president for university relations, told Fox 8.
“The university does not know whether any of these students were not planning to return for reasons unrelated to the COVID-19 vaccine requirement,” Owczarski said, adding that attempts have been made to contact those students and that they are welcome to enroll again if they return with proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
An overwhelming 95 percent of 37,000 students at Virginia Tech have been vaccinated, according to the university’s website. Nearly 90 percent of the university’s employees are vaccinated, and those who aren’t have until Oct. 1 to get the vaccine, regardless of whether they teach remotely or in person.
Since Aug. 2, Virginia Tech has administered 2,799 tests for CCP virus infection, and only 43 of them returned positive, including one case of an employee. All individuals with an approved exemption for medical or religious reasons are required to get tested every week.
The announcement comes days after the University of Virginia (UVA) disenrolled 238 students, mostly undergraduates, for not complying with the public university’s COVID-19 vaccination policy.
“These students received multiple communications from Student Affairs via email, text, and phone calls reminding them to update their status by deadline,” a UVA spokesperson told student newspaper The Cavalier Daily.
University data shows that as of Aug. 18, over 96 percent of UVA students have shown proof that they are vaccinated, including 97 percent of students living on campus.
Earlier this month, Virginia Tech and UVA said they are working together to develop a new vaccine against the CCP virus, as well as its variants.
This new vaccine is expected to be effective against other coronaviruses, including those that cause the common cold, according to a UVA news release. It could cost only $1 for one dose.
“We are continuing to work very hard,” said Dr. Steven L. Zeichner at UVA’s health department. “Since those early results, we have been systemically testing how we can best administer the vaccine, either orally, intranasally, or intramuscularly, and how we can optimize the immune response with different versions of the pieces of the viruses that are used get the body to make an effective immune response against the virus.”

A Freiburg (Freiburg i.Br.) physics professor once said around the turn of the millennium, during the book recommendations for freshmen: “The American textbooks, they are, simply fantastic. The way they introduce the reader to the subject matter.”
John de Nugent, in a reply to a reader’s comment [1] the other day, replied, mutatis mutandis, that there was no real codetermination of the people in the U.S. He listed historical examples and names of politicians who overrode the will of the people.
Apart from that, however, there were also freedoms that did not exist in Europe: In business, there were sometimes flatter hierarchies, i.e., if you were appropriately talented, you could realize projects even without university diplomas; financing was also easier than in Europe. In some cases, there were more religious freedoms.
Harold A. Covington described freedom of publication as the country’s former crown jewels that were now in danger of being lost. And now, in 2021, it’s all over for intellectual freedom, the un-spirit of Bolshevism/Marxism now reigns nationwide in U.S. university chairs, anyone who refuses to be physically poisoned gets kicked out.
If one looks at the many historical splendor buildings of the American universities one would like to weep, because of the Ungeist, which prevails there now.[2]

Amerikanische Lehrer, Professoren und Buchautoren zeichneten sich durch eine lebendige, anschauliche Wissensvermittlung aus, sie scheuten sich auch nicht, einfache Beispiele in Lehrbüchern zu verwenden, amerikanische Lehrbücher waren Didaktik-Juwele.
Ein Freiburger (Freiburg i.Br.) Physikprofessor sagte einmal um die Jahrtausendwende, während der Buchempfehlungen für Erstsemester: “Die amerikanischen Lehrbücher, sie sind, einfach phantastisch. Die Art und Weise, wie sie den Leser an die Materie heranführen.”
John de Nugent entgegnete neulich in einer Antwort auf einen Leserkommentar [1] sinngemäß, daß es in den USA nicht wirklich eine Mitbestimmung des Volkes gab, er führte historische Beispiele und Namen von Politikern auf, die sich über den Volkswillen hinwegsetzten.
Davon abgesehen gab es jedoch auch Freiheiten, die es in Europa nicht gab: In der Wirtschaft gab es teilweise flachere Hierarchien, d.h., man konnte, wenn man entsprechend begabt war, auch ohne Universitätsdiplome Projekte verwirkllichen; auch war die Finanzierung leichter als in Europa. Es gab teilweise mehr religiöse Freiheiten.
Harold A. Covington bezeichnete die Publikationsfreiheit als die einstigen Kronjuwelen des Landes die nun Gefahr liefen, verloren zu gehen. Und jetzt, 2021, ist es aus mit der geistigen Freiheit, der Ungeist des Bolschewismus/Marxismus herrscht nun landesweit an den Lehrstühlen der USA, wer sich nicht körperlich vergiften läßt, fliegt raus.
Betrachtet man die vielen historischen Prachtbauten der amerikanischen Unis möchte man weinen, ob des Ungeistes, der dort nun vorherrscht.[2]
