At the beautiful Mayo Clinic again yesterday for one day: Margi had tests and swallowing therapy after throat cancer (background: blue and yellow Bolivian marble).

Pathologist (and her two main cancer doctors) say her swallowing and speaking are recovering well, and, quote, “all blood measurements are up.”

Just reading in “Le Monde” (Paris) that cancer is up by 20% and the mortality rate (after agony!) is 50%. Having justg through this nightmare with Margi (which she survived), and seeing two WN friends in their mid-forties with it, this is no laughing matter.
