Wow!! What an analogy. Unfortunately, it was very accurate, and I din’t know if it can ever be fixed in 1991, census showed our population at 30.9million. That more than doubled in 30 years, helped on by lax immigration policy. Smaller taxpayer base expected to provide for much larger beneficiary groups for all from free housing, free education, free healthcare. How does the math work?

Fact: female lions are more tolerant of hyenas, who, although fearful of lionesses, become more brazen in packs of 4 or more, when they may drive the lioness off the kill made for the pride. Male lions on the other hand are violently territorial and require very little provocation to slaughter an entire clan of hyenas. So, to continue the analogy – when are the “alphas” – men & women – of South Africa going to root out the problem hyenas? Organise, make democracy work for the people, get rid of the sham democracy in which the people are enslaved to the ruling class.
As a white ….I don’t think we are in a position to comment on this…. we were all privileged during apartheid, regardless of our parents financial status….. we want comment on something that didn’t affect us the way our black brothers and sisters went through…… rather be quiet and just listen and read….. better together
I’m a South African colored…i agree with advocate Ike..I grew up in apartheid… I’m 61 years now….now it is a nightmare they brag they freed us but it is worse now..they destroyed our country
I was not alive during apartheid, but I know the state of the country has declined exponentially because of The ANC’s corruption and “can’t-care attitude”. Segregation is not the answer, but a working government is.

KHUMALO IT WAS MUCH MUCH BETTER .more and more people are living on the streets ,go To the city my heart breaks, our areas a filthy , sewrage pipes are not being updated, there is no place for children in schools no staff athospitals not proper medication its sad ANC MUST GO
The facilities were there. Period. They closed the technicons. They short changed the schools. The Anc decided not to improve because it did not suit their agenda of the destabilisation of South Africa on behalf of their communist masters . This man is right. I wish him well and I hope he can make a difference for all South Africans.
My Brother worked in Baragwanath as an OPS Medic (army) in 1998. This hospital was world renowned. People from US and EU came there to study. Now it’s a sad state of affair. We can never go back to Apartheid. We just need leaders in charge that are not race driven but skills based and care for the well-being of ALL people in South Africa
I’m a white male born in 1984. I was 10 when apartheid ended with the promise of a great future for all citizens of South Africa. Today I’m 39 and I see a country falling apart due the the same ANC political party destroying poeples minds and lives. I agree that apartheid was a terrible design, but things worked and opertunities were there. It has now become so bad that all citizens of South Africa are being treated worse than what apartheid did. We all need to stand together regardless of race and vote out the ANC in 2024.
