Islamic cruelty toward animals will soon be over in Italy. The Italian governing party Lega has submitted a bill to make this cruel throat-slitting and hoisting up by the feet a thing of the past.

Animals should be respected and saved from suffering, the statement said. The bill closes a gap in the Italian animal welfare law that allowed Muslims exceptions for their ritual slaughter, reports Il Giornale.
Should the new legislation, which will force producers to properly label all halal and ritual slaughtered products, become effective, Italy would join a number of other European countries, such as Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Lithuania , Belgium and Switzerland , which have either restricted or banned religious slaughter.
In Belgium , anesthetic-free slaughter is prohibited in both [French-speaking] Wallonia and Flanders [Dutch-speaking].
However, in the Brussels region [the capital region is separate from Flanders and Wallonia by law], Islamic slaughter is still possible and enjoys great popularity every year at the Muslim sacrificial festival.
Halal slaughter is legal in France, which has the highest Muslim population in Europe at almost 9 per cent , as long as it takes place under the supervision of a qualified professional. Still, secret slaughterhouses are always being discovered by the police, where slaughter is being conducted for the festival, reports Breitbart.
In August, in the Muslim migrant stronghold of Seine-Saint-Denis, near Paris, police discovered 32 sheep in the garage of a pizzeria and rescued them from the cruel Islamic sacrificial ritual. The police also arrested a man who had shot two sheep. Even in London, Halal slaughter in the back yard is no exception. A video taken by English neighbors shows a Muslim family killing and dissecting animals in the yard for this year’s sacrificial festival. (MS)

I worked and lived in Kirchchensittenbach in the Nuremberg area for a whole month in 2006 — and every Tuesday at 8 am I heard an unbearable ten-minute howling of pigs from the butchery next door, and there were no Muslims in the village at that time.
