Yes that is true. It feels worse to live in Germany every day.

It really feels like everything is going down the drain, and I’m afraid of the future.

I would not hesitate to fight for my country when the moment comes. But the reality right now is that everything is getting more expensive, the prices for rent are rising astronomically, and in southern Germany and Austria the rent for tiny apartments are already so high that its impossible to move there.

Food prices are rising, and gasoline prices as well.

The taxes are being raised by the government on almost everything, and income and retirement-payments are being decreased, going lower and lower.

I just want it all to be over.

Sebastian, Yes, I understand. 😒 I was just reading a Wikipedia article on movies which said films used to be optimistic untll the late 1970s.

But then all the dystopic movies began being produced, where the future sucks or is even a totalitarian nightmare.
