…Spiritual reading for September 13
After too much haranguing of late, we have the pleasure of informing you that today will be an
absolutely perfect day to do…almost nothing. Certainly nothing of lasting or deep import. It will be a great day for playing, for tying up loose ends, tending to little and piddling sorts of details in the general stream of your life.
It will be wonderful for walking and casually enjoying the scenery, chatting with friends about things that don’t matter much but pass the time. It will be a fine day to do chores that you
actually enjoy and it will also be great to do very little at all.
Read a book. Watch a movie. Retreat from the intensity of the energies which are constantly bufeting you. In short, turn your mind off—again—but don’t try to feel into your beingness in other ways. Just plan to content yourself with being content today.
Don’t push so hard today, don’t ask or expect so much of yourself. For many of you, this will be a treat and will feel like a fabulous vacation that you have been just dying to take.
For some of you, it may feel more like a precipitous drop from great heights. The lack of intensity, instead of feeling like a blessing, may come in as a frightening numbness or lack of connection. We mention this because it is really nothing more than a little break, and we hope that you will be able to accept it as such.
Rest, relax and let down a little. If you find that, contrary to what we have said, you are embroiled today, check to see if it is truly what is being asked of you, or if it has become a habit. This is one of the risks of times like these —that the seed and the high vibrations and the intensity become something you learn to rely on.
It is always important to stay current, to be connected to the moment and to be able to feel into what is correct. If it is correct for you to be dealing with something profound or difficult, then you must follow it where it takes you.
But we suspect that most of you will be able, with some consciousness brought to bear, to take the day off.
Enjoy, and remember that our love and blessings are always with you.
