Deepen your attention to your body today. It may be in need of some repair. A massage, a long soak in the bath? If not, a little rest will likely be welcome.
It is possible that exercise of a gentle sort is in order—stretching, walking, yoga. If you ask, it will tell you what it longs for and also what it needs in terms of movement.
Maybe it wants joy or pleasure? You will listen and know how best to offer that to your own body.
Do the same with the food you feed it. Your mind has an idea of what is good for your body. Your emotional being has an idea of what is comforting or delightful. Your tongue has yet another idea of what you should eat. Ask your body what it wants without prejudice. It may want ice cream. It may want kale. By all means, do what you can to be responsive.
The point is respect. Listen, and respect. Like yesterday, we are talking about tangible gestures of love and attention. Again today, actually doing something with your regard will have a greater effect than it does at other times. Walk the walk, as is said.
Whatever you do, let your body lead today. And be aware that it may well need some extra care and nurturing. Anything you can do to provide that will be balancing and energizing for you over the next few days.
