Stay as close as you can to the ground of your earth today. Hold stones, carry them, speak to them, and listen too. Eat salt if it is from the earth (sea salt being not advised). Do all that you know how to do in order to ground and connect with earth.

There is great challenge and great beauty in what you are being asked to do. Do not be afraid, for you are -— one and all reading this -— equal to those challenges.

But you have to stop holding back and enter fully into what you incarnated to do.

Today might be a bit bumpy. In addition to holding yourselves in connection with the ground beneath you, try to be infinitely tender with yourself and others. Make an effort to dress in colors that are peaceful and soothing for you, that feel safe and gentle. If you fnd yourself being unduly affected by the energetic weather, stop and ground again, take some rescue remedy or eat some root vegetables.

Chant, if you can do that without going too high.

This is a day to stay quiet, soft. and in general, below the radar.

Energy flung high and wide will probably be lost, will not hit its intended target, will not bring you where you had hoped to go. If you can manage to conserve and remain contained and gentle with yourself (and others, of course) you will enjoy the best this day has to offer.

….Tragic 1954 Korean War drama “The Bridges at Toko-Ri”

Thanks to donations (which have however almost totally dried up, an extremely serious current problem), I subscribe to the Epoch Times, a mostly excellent conservative weekly newspaper and website.

It praised this movie for both its powerful messages and also how, though the second half is truly a “war movie,” it did not need or seek to show blood, gore, and brains to be deeply moving. It had a great plot and meaning, and you cared about the characters. That made it into a great movie.

(And, yes, the studio, the producer and the director were all jewish. But the jews HAD to produce quality for the White Americans living at that far less degenerate time. In fact, given that America was the jews’ chosen tool, and the main support of Israel, with Stalin having turned increasingly against them, the jews WANTED America to be strong, patriotic and unified back then, and also cranking out beautiful white children.)

Little did most Whites know in the Fifties….

My father suffered intensely during the Korean War as a Marine officer. For all his faults, he tried to be a good dad, and was in many way an outstanding man, a self-made millionaire, and a real masculine fellow with charm, tact and charisma who lit up every room he entered.  Women and men both loved my dad. He was “The Man.” 😉

Specifically, in Korea,  half his Marine officer class was either killed or wounded and evacuated, as he was, spending three days in a coma and waking up in a hospital in Tokyo — whence he was shipped back stateside.

It really shows the white Americans of the 1950s, who mostly were great people.

Stopping marxism/communism with all its horrors was the big and noble mission Americans had. And lots of Americans fought bravely and well, and many died.

Korean War memorial in Washington DC. 37,000 Americans, Army and Marines mostly, but also Navy and Air Force, died in this “police action,” often in conditions of horrible cold. The sight of mountains and snow gave my dad flashbacks to months of extreme and utter misery, so he moved to Vero Beach, Florida to get away from his scarred memories of both.

I would agree with this comment:

Born in 1945, my mom took me into Manhattan to see this movie in the 50s. It’s become my favorite movie of all time. William Holden, Grace Kelly, Mikey Rooney, and others were superb in their acting roles. When you consider this was filmed 65+ years ago, the cinematography is superb and real. For me it’s #1.

This is just a clip of some aircraft scenes, all done on a real US Navy aircraft carrier of that period. Vital were the Navy helicopters and crews that fished downed pilots out of the freezing waters. (Sharks were also a horrible factor, as in WWII, though not mentioned in this movie.)

I wish to end by now drawing attention to one of many excellent scenes. At 29:57-30:07 the Admiral says to the pilot and his wife: I am no longer allowed by the Pentagon to say the truth to the press — that we are actually fighting the [Soviet communist] Russians, their guns, planes, pilots and submarines:

Well, gee, fellow, Admiral (speaking now as AH, and I feel both German and American at different times),  we Germans, we National Socialists, had these communist bastards on the ropes in 1942.
