Stay in your center today, remind yourself of your values, of the way in which you wish to live and then be guided by that. Don’t do anything rash, and try your best not to say or suggest anything on the spur of the moment. You might end up thinking that you were nuts to have done so…. and then having to undo something you probably should never have done to begin with.
Mantra is especially helpful today—of any sort. If you don’t have one you like, make up your own. Use it to keep yourself from being pulled up or down or sideways. And use it to deepen into the place where you can smile despite any weirdness around you.

Just say any word repeatedly, such as the Hindu/Sanskrit “Om,” or “power” or “peace,” and you may be amazed, shocked and appalled at the mental noise, the mostly pointless chitchat that our mind will generate, like a wild horse that refuses to be saddled and ridden. 😉
I remember once meditating with a mantra at a very real Hindu ashram, the Himalayan Institute, in the Poconos of Pennsylvania, run then by Swami Rama, in 1993.

To my amusement, suddenly my mind, having an allergic reaction to being tamed, wanted me to think, apparently urgently, about a chain grocery store where I had worked in 1973, a Star Market in Mattapan, in the southern part of Boston, and how the manager was a fellow with the last name of “Johns” who was short and wore elevator shoes. He drove up from Cape Cod every day to manage the store……
Now why on earth was this throwaway informational whisp of the slightest importance to me 21 years later?
What need was there at that moment to think about that forgettable shelf-stocking and carton-compacting job I had had twenty years before?
There was no need at all.
It was my rebellious mind churning out mental chatter to try to stop the mantra, stop the mental obedience training, and reassert that it — that is, my chitchat, wilful, rebellious mind — was the real boss of me….my thoughts and feelings, memoris, traumas and issues…. my past.. and worries about my future.
Main thing is to avoid the now, and mental peace.
And never let any earthling grasp this one fundamental truth that can change this hell planet into a wonderful place:

It is just amazing how, if you try serious meditation with a mantra, the egoic mind feels, and in fact actually IS, threatened by a mantra, or just by anyy peaceful mental silence….no words, no mantra, just staying on mental no-thing.
Try sitting there quietly and saying “power” over and over.

Free-form prayer, when practiced in an ongoing manner, can yield the same sort of protection and support today.
Take good care of your physical being. Try not to get too hungry, cold, hot or dehydrated. In other words, pay attention to the messages coming from your body. They should be much more reliable than those emanating from mind or emotion. In attending to those needs, you will reinforce your grounding and thus, do much to keep yourself on course.
Today will not necessarily feel like one where much spiritual progress occurs, but in fact it could offer you a most important and valuable opportunity. If the day is successfully navigated, if you can manage not to get knocked too far of course, you will be able to see just how much stronger you are now than you were quite recently. And this is so important for you to recognize, to know.
So sally forth and head straight for the center of your being today. Take shelter there using mantra, prayer, consciousness, and respect for the needs and desires of your physical body. You’ll weather it well. And if you don’t, be assured that another day will bring you another opportunity to practice. We say this—if you do become aware that you are feeling, doing or saying things that seem a bit far out, this is very much a step on your path.
Just seeing yourself in the process of losing yourself [your old patterns] is a great thing, so take heart.
And if you feel calm and centered to begin with, we suggest that you attend to your body’s wishes with a little extra indulgence, and that you practice some sort of prayer, chanting, contemplation or even just quiet time.
You can also work to stay on track on a purely material level today, making your way through a list, getting things done, and being on time. It may be that for some of you, this is where the challenges lie.

Physical
Nordics are human in reality and in appearance, and closely resemble people of Scandinavian descent. They tend to have blonde to reddish hair, blue or green eyes, and stand anywhere from 6-7 feet tall. They can easily pass as Earthlings, and those who have been in contact with this race state that their appearance allows them to freely explore our planet.
Modes of Transportation
Nordics are generally observers, sometimes viewing events and contactees from within their craft, which range from spherical to cigar-shaped.
Communication Methods
As a part of the Galactic Federation, Nordics often keep their distance from humanity, communicating telepathically or through dreams. I have had strange experiences through them with objects, including electronic devices. But their goal is for us to grow up, think and act on our situation, not for them to have to swoop in and save us from our own incessant egoic insanities.

Intentions on Earth
Many contactees have claimed to receive channeled message of peace and love from these beings, and much of the information available about the species is obtained in this manner. The Nordics see earthlings as MENTALLY chaotic, and are concerned with the spiritual evolution of humanity, not technological advances to share with us. They often remind contactees that we are closely related to them, albeit we humans are at a lesser development stage.

This species is less frequently associated with abduction experiences, and when involved in such rare episodes, there is generally a message of peace and concern relating to the Earth’s wellbeing.

George Adamski was another early Nordic contactee of the 1950s, and claimed to be in contact with a group of Nordic aliens from Venus. He wrote several books on the subject and said that his materials were cleared by the FBI and US government.
President Eisenhower
It is also rumored that President Eisenhower had a secret meeting with a group of Nordic extraterrestrial who were attempting to convince the United States to disarm its nuclear missile program in exchange for advanced technology. The event is said to have taken place in February 1954 at Edwards Air Force base under the guise of Eisenhower undergoing emergency dental surgery. It is believed that this meeting did not end with any sort of agreement.

There is a photo of Harriett Tubman wearing a white headscarf that I noticed bears a striking resemblance to the alien in Steven Spielberg’s E.T., particularly when it has a white towel wrapped around its head. Even the wrinkles on the top of its nose resembles those of H.T. The fact Hollywood chose to give E.T. brown skin appears to me to have been an attempt at subliminal programming to counter any subconscious racial bias in the White children of the 1980’s.
