People of jewish orgin are often anti-Stalin because Stalin purged a lot of Bolshevik jews or even had them shot or otherwise killed. (One was Trotsky, of course, but also Yagoda, Kaganovich, etc.) He did this in three waves: the Moscow Show Trials in the Thirties, the Cosmopolitan purges of the later Forties, and the Doctors Plot of the early Fifties.

BUT for other jews, what outweighs all that is that Stalin was the guy who stopped their nemesis, Hitler, and continued Lenin’s policy of killing Orthodox Christian priests and destroying churches, so the Georgian dictator is still, overall, seen as a good guy for them- – and we have to “understand” the man who enslaved, tortured, terrified and murdered millions of Russians and others.
Stalin makes himself a “good guy” to certain elites by blowing up in 1931 the Church of Christ the Saviour in downtown Moscow:
On 5 December 1931, by order of Stalin’s minister Kaganovich, a jew, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour was dynamited and reduced to rubble. It took more than one blast to destroy the church and more than a year to clear the debris from the site. The original marble high reliefs were preserved and are now on display at the Donskoy Monastery. For a long time, they were the only reminder of the largest Orthodox church ever built. (Stalin replaced it with a huge, outdoor swimming pool. In the 1990s the pool was filled back in and the cathedral was triumphantly rebuilt at the same spot after communism fell.)
Btw, I believe I heard Robert Barnes say he was from Rhode Island, my native state. One of my ancestors, Thomas Angell (Norman name), co-founded the colony of Rhode Island in 1636.

If so, then Rhode Islander Barnes will know that the Transatlantic slave trade, the African slave trade, which was horrendous, yet yielded gigantic profits, was financed by the Newport, Rhode Island jewish community, centered around the Touro synagogue for sephardic jews. (The Nation of Islam has an authoritative, totally factual book on this, the “Secret History of Blacks and Jews.” ) Every Rhode Island kid learns about the Touro synagogue and how it was the first synagogue in the thirteen British colonies, so this shows how wonderfully tolerant Rhode Island was.. and how President George Washington sent this synagogue a friendly letter.

But no one hears how they started, financed and ran the African slave trade, including actually captaining and crewing many of the slave ships, routinely throwing sick slaves overboard into the Atlantic. And no one is told how this developed massive financial power off the suffering of those Africans, and also created a gigantic racial problem in an otherwise 100% Caucasian United States. (Amerindians were not US citizens until 1920.)

Christian kings of that colonial era thought that literal slavery, which had ended with Rome, was cruel, unchristian and immoral, which it was, but they were per$$$uaded by the Touro types to change their minds.

There are docs and eyewitness accounts of Stalin shitting himself as the Germans approached the suburbs of Moscow. He had a dream where a holy man instructed him to fly around Moscow with holy icons to save Russia. Stalin being a superstitious peasant, he carried out his dream. Moscow was saved.
The Jew commisars were replaced by real military men who got the Russians to fight for Mother Russia, not communism. Churches were rebuilt and religious icons used instead of rhetoric. Gold braid and saluting were reintroduced into the Red Army.
