When India SLAMMED into Asia — spooky, scary, striking mountains

Most do not know that huge mountain ranges can arise when continents and land masses drift and smash into bigger land masses. As they collide, the mountains form by rock crumpling upward.

THE CONTINENTS WERE CLUMPED TOGETHER, AND THE REST WAS ONE BIG OCEAN:

Italy and Spain smashed into Europe, creating the Alps and the Pyrenees.

But the biggie was India floating along in the Indian Ocean northward until it hit Asia, creating huge, pointed, scary, spooky mountains of pure rock and ice.
