They all had committed hideous murders, often involving cruelty and rape. Some lied right to the end. Most had committed many serious crimes beforehand. She felt in the end that not enough women were executed, though some had murdered their own loved ones,including their own kids, and killed their husbands for the insurance money.
What I find foolish is the whole, expensive, ceremonial rigamarole. Do it cheap and fast with these scum as the Chinese do: one bullet in the back of the head. Off they go to God, time there to reflect, and eventually to another incarnation and chance at life.
