@theduran It is sometimes hard for me Understand why Poland is allowing NATO and the EU to use it as a staging area in its proxy war against Russia. Poland will never be considered an equal member of the EU either politically, socially or economically.

Perhaps it is economic opportunities in the West for its citizens that keeps Poland in its dysfunctional relationship with Western Europe. Poland did handle the transfer of warplanes well with the transfer to Germany rather than directly to Ukraine.

Looking at the larger picture, I have to wonder if Russia and Poland have considered a land for peace deal regarding the Russian owned Kaliningrad Oblast at the Northern Poland border. For example, this could be delivered to Poland with the condition that Poland leave the EU and NATO with a long term lease for the Russian fleet. A joint project could be to divert exports from Russia to Europe through a joint Russian/Polish port. Perhaps the economic losses from remittance to Polish citizens working in Western Europe be balanced by revenue from exporting energy, food and essential products from Russia to Europe.

Since this move would make Poland an enemy with the West and a color revolution regime change likely, it may help Poland to have a powerful Russian fleet and military presence to assist Poland in defending its economic interests and nationalistic autonomy.

Poland is still living in World War II, when Russia murdered thousands of Polish elite in cold blood, invaded Poland with no provocation, and assassinated the leaders of the Polish government-in-exile. They don’t like Russia, with much reason. Of course, Poland is not aiming a gun at its own head so it can shoot the Russians. Better to follow the example of Finland, which hated the Russians just as much, but came to an accord with Stalin after World War II to preserve their nation. Not that the Finns are doing much now to preserve their nation as a nation.
